Susan Harris with Austin Catering WILL take care you through out the entire wedding process; plannining, meeting your budget and creating a beautiful celebration. So many little details were covered, the food was terrific, the staff behind the scene worked nonstop. She has great ideas, great connections and great taste!
- How was food presented at the wedding reception? Cocktail hour? After-party? Brunch? We served buffet style for a wedding reception
- Most creative part of your wedding day catering? Beautifully draped tables and color accents.
- Favorite wedding dessert? The champagne!

- Favorite part of wedding day catering? Working with Susan Harris was by all means the nicest and easiest part of the wedding day catering. She thought of everything and was so efficient and professional. The food was absolutely delicious and our guests have passed along multiple comments regarding its presentation and taste. We feel so lucky to have found Susan and Austin Catering and would certainly use them again for another event or recommend them to any bride wanting an easy, yet fabulous caterer.
- How was food presented at the wedding reception? Cocktail hour? After-party? Brunch? For the cocktail hour Austin Catering served delicious Queso Blanco, Salsa, and tortilla chips as this was a non-alcoholic wedding reception. The Buffett was beautiful with lovely serving pieces and even more delicious food.
- Most creative part of your wedding day catering? The presentation of the food with silver serving platters and a creative set-up that also made for an easy flow of traffic for my 200 guests was wonderful.
- Favorite wedding dessert? Ummm...the cake! 5 tiers of rich white cake with an alternating vanilla/almond buttercream and praline filling all robed in a light, but decadent vanilla buttercream frosting. Decorated exactly like I hoped it would be!

- Favorite part of wedding day catering? Susan Harris and the chefs of Austin catering came up with an awesome menu that fit our vision and budget perfectly. All the food was incredible and surpassed all our expectations. The presentation was lovely. The highlight was an avocado bar! We also had aquas frescas that were a big hit. The staff was professional incredibly organized. I would trust Austin catering with any important event.

- Favorite part of wedding day catering? I can't decide... Is it the fact that Susan and her staff far exceeded any possible expectation and truly created a magical feeling in the room? It could be the elegant arrangement of pre-wedding treats for our guests. Maybe it was the tiny handmade chocolate milkshakes with a cherry and miniature bendy straw? No, I know, it was the creation and follow through of an amazing menu from start to finish!
- How was food presented at the wedding reception? Cocktail hour? After-party? Brunch? Presentation was incredible! Austin Catering displayed our heavy hors d'oeuvres stations beautifully and made the food for our 32 guests look positively bountiful. Susan and her staff created lemon whoopie pies just for our event and went out of her way to really make the whole party extremely special. Susan even had a special antipasti plate made up so I could nosh while I finished getting ready at the venue
- Most creative part of your wedding day catering? It has to be the research that went into making the whoopie pies and the fact that they made perfect tiny chocolate milkshakes.
- Favorite wedding dessert? Without a doubt the entire dessert station was a huge hit, however, people are still talking about the milkshakes!

- Favorite part of wedding day catering? The food was a definite hit. Everything was absolutely fantastic. Austin Catering also serves as a "day of" coordinator for the wedding. They made me relaxed and happy and took care of everything from the wedding and reception time line to the clean up. We worked with Kristin and she made us feel so comfortable - I highly recommend her and Austin Catering. The entire staff was very nice and professional.
- How was food presented at the wedding reception? Cocktail hour? After-party? Brunch? We had a cocktail hour before the ceremony where hors d'oeuvres were passed. We served wine and beer and wanted our guests to be able to have a something to eat while they visited. The food was delicious. We had seen a picture in a magazine of a picnic style buffet table. Austin catering created an upscale picnic for us and displayed the food on a long buffet table underneath a tent. It looked very elegant and provided the look we wanted. The food itself also looked very inviting, plentiful, and delicious.
- Most creative part of your wedding day catering? The menu and the display were done very creatively. We asked for an upscale picnic and she provided the perfect menu of roasted vegetables, grilled chicken, stuffed portobello mushrooms, quiche, and a summer salad. It was absolutely amazing. I had many "Austinites" ask us who our caterer was because they absolutely loved the food and wanted to use Austin Catering themselves.
