Review: Royal Receptions: Unreliable, unprofessional

No decorations were enjoyed because she did not show up the night she agreed to show up. Her excuse--no one called her to let her know.
Royal Receptions was hard to get a hold of after the first meeting. She promised a quote the day of consultation but did not complete one until weeks later. Until then, we'd call her and she would not answer or respond to our calls. We visited her again and she simply said she was busy and had her own daughters' weddings to plan.
Royal Receptions' Carolyn would schedule meetings to meet and plan with us and on a couple of occassions she did not show up without any notice and would not answer our phone calls to see where she was. Come to find out that she went out of state and did not notify us. The night she was scheduled to decorate, the night before the wedding, she did not show up and when we called to see where she was she simply said "no one called her", when a few days before there was a mutual agreement of the meeting time and place. She keep a crew of our friends waiting for her at the chapel for 1.5 hours. When we tried to confront her she became defensive and told us how she was tired from her vacation in Oregon and that she gave up time with her grandkids to do this wedding, as if she were doing us a favor. By the end of the night she became so defensive that it turned into an argument between the adults and she walked out, leaving her husband in the building apologizing for her behavior--completely unprofessional and frustratingly unreliable. Having her walk away from decorating our reception hall the night before the wedding nearly ruined the entire occassion but we were able to find someone else in the nick of time--something we should've done a long time ago!
