Review: A Night to Remember

  • We had a wonderful song picked out for our first dance and Ra-Mu pointed out that so many couples use that song, and suggested a few others. One of the songs he suggested was Keeper of the Stars by Mark Chestnut. He knew we were country music fans and the song was just so perfect for our first dance.
  • He took the time to get to know us and helped us create a sound track for the whole night. When we needed slow music for dancing, he had it ready to go and when we needed party music to keep the crowd dancing he was ready with it. I think the only time he wasn't playing music was when we had asked for breaks for toasts etc.
  • So many people went up to compliment him and his assistants on the job they did it was amazing. I think as many people told us what a great DJ he was, and what a great time they were having, as congratulated us on our wedding. I think he ran out of business cards that night!
  • By far our favorite was our first dance. It seemed like it was a song only played for us. We just can't thank Ra-Mu enough for all his hard work and making our wedding day so wonderful. Ronnie & Lisa

  • First dance song? I've Been Loving You Too Long Now - Otis Redding
  • How did your wedding musicians keep the party going? Here is what i put on the survey - please feel free to quote any/all of this if you so choose. Or, if you ever need a review/recommendation, please keep our information! We have nothing but the best to say about Ra-Mu and the Crew. Choosing Ra-Mu was simple, as they were quick with their responses, extremely helpful and offered the most for a fantastic price. They set up a wonderful pre-wedding video for us, and took fantastic pictures and video during the reception, which have been made easily accessible for us after the wedding. The music kept the entire 200+ reception dancing the entire night away. i have never been to a wedding where every generation was up dancing together for the majority of the night. Everyone had fun, all anyone could talk about the next day was how wonderful the DJ was. Ra-Mu and the Crew was by far our best decision, they truly made our celebration a wonderful, special day. I would, and have already, recommend their services to anyone!

  • First dance song? Truly Madly Deeply - Savage Garden
  • How did your wedding musicians keep the party going? DJ IMHO! First let me just say WOW! You are a genius and the rest of the crew was phenomenal. We are back from our honeymoon and slowly coming back to reality. Everyone complimented us on the wedding, from family, friends and co-workers. To this day, our guests are still raving about the event. They're all saying that it was best and most entertaining wedding they've ever been to. You've made quite an impression on even our most traditional guests who were disappointed when they heard we were having a DJ at our wedding instead of a live band. Now they are believers that you don't need a band to have an awesome wedding. LOL. We owe a great deal of gratitude to you for making everything flow so well. Everyone had a blast and we enjoyed every minute of it. The wedding was a success in large part because of you. It was so much fun - we wish we could do it again! From our initial meeting to the day of the wedding, it was a pleasure to work with someone so professional and dedicated. We really felt that you were as enthusiastic about our big day as we were. It meant a lot to us. Please note a formal thank you card will be sent in the mail. We just wanted to let you know how grateful we are for making this day so memorable for us and our guests. Can't wait to see the full video. Keep in touch and let us know if you need anything in the future. Look me or my wife up on facebook when you get a chance. We tried finding you, but weren't sure which one you were. Thanks again for everything, At & Quynh

Review: Affordable, knowledgable and charismatic! DJ Imho

  • First dance song? Im in love with you- Erykah Badu and Stephen Marley
  • How did your wedding musicians keep the party going? DJ imho was incredibly energetic and interactive with my husband's and my own family. He managed to incorporate many of our requests, and maintained smooth transitions into each part of the night, i.e. cocktail hour, first and parent dances, main dance block. The dance floor was never empty! we danced the night away, no one wanted to leave!
  • DJ or Band interaction with the wedding guests? Numbers exchanged? Imho had business cards available for all guests that asked. i was especially appreciative that the cards were not forced onto guests, but all of my family wanted one by the end of the night! He made it our night! it was truly special! it would not have been the same with out his charisma, professionalism and talent.
  • Favorite wedding reception song & dance? The last dance of the night was especially wonderful and memorable! We chose As by Stevie wonder, a family favorite! It was by far my favorite and most emotional moment of the night!

Review: Ra-Mu and the Crew Rocked our Wedding!

  • First dance song? At Last by Etta James
  • How did your wedding musicians keep the party going? Ra-Mu and the Crew are without a doubt the best DJ company in Boston, and I would say hands down the best wedding entertainment company I have ever seen. My fiance and I are in our 30's (nuff said). We were looking for someone who wasn't over the top and 'gimmickee', while at the same time could keep the crowd entertained throughout our 6 hour reception. My biggest concern was that everyone would make it to the end of the night. Our wedding was on the Cape, and quite a hike for everyone to travel. My fear was that people would travel all that way to go back after dinner was over. Ra-Mu and the Crew dismissed that fear from the beginning, right after the introductions. Ra-Mu and the Crew held everyone till the end of the night, and went on to do 2 hours overtime. I can't express how glad and relieved I was that we hired them instead of the "other guys" (I'll spare them shame and not mention their name)
  • DJ or Band interaction with the wedding guests? Numbers exchanged? Interaction was a must at our wedding. We wanted someone to entertain the crowd from the moment they arrived. Ra-Mu was attentive to every moment of the wedding. From the cocktail hour music to our bridal party introductions. From our first dance to the parent dances. From our cake cutting to our bouquet toss. Ra-Mu kept the dance-floor packed from beginning to end. There is no hyperbole anywhere in these statements. Ra-Mu literally kept the dance-floor packed. The waitstaff had to ask everyone to their seats so that they could serve. I loved the interaction. It was perfect.
  • Favorite wedding reception song & dance? It is difficult to even pick a favorite song that was played. We met with Ra-Mu a couple times before the event, and gave him our favorite songs. Really no more than a handfull of things that we liked. (Neither of us are music buffs). Ra-Mu took that meager handful of music that we gave him, and encompassed the entire playlist around it. It was unbelievable. All the songs that we heard were wonderful. Just right. Perfect. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!!

  • How did your wedding musicians keep the party going? Dj Ramu used turntables and played a variety of music to keep all age groups on the dance floor
  • DJ or Band interaction with the wedding guests? Numbers exchanged? We didn't want any games but Ramu did had plasma screens that showed text messages sent by our guests. Very cool
