- Worst customer service ever. DO NOT use this this DJ company. Complete Music is a terrible company to work for and I guarantee you will screwed in some way. We initially talked to Carl and he seemed at first to know what he was doing. He seemed very professional and organized, DO NOT let this fool you. After we paid the $150 deposit he set up a meeting with my fiance to have her sign the contract and to go over the timeline of the ceremony and reception. She had to drive all the way up to North Salt Lake in a very seedy part of town at 6pm on a Thursday. I was out of town otherwise I would have done this myself. She got to the place and tried calling Carl and he didn't answer. The parking lot of their shady looking office building was empty. Nobody was there. She called him a few more times and he never answered. On her drive home she called me and was all distraught for having to waste her entire night for this Carl guy to completely flake out on her. This pissed me off so I tried calling him on his cell and at his office. No answer on either phone. We didn't hear back from Carl until noon the next day when he claimed he had to randomly go pick up his son. I asked him why he didn't cancel and he said he forgot about the meeting. Then I asked why he didn't answer when we called him all 6 or 7 times and he says "uhhh, I didn't have my phone on me." Right. You go to pick up your son, and you don't have your cell phone on you. What a terrible excuse. Who doesn't have their cell phone on them? Let alone all night long. What a total flake. I was pretty upset so I decided to look up reviews on this flaky Carl guy and his Complete Music DJ company. There are at least a dozen horrible reviews on various websites like Yelp and other wedding review websites. These reviews all say that the DJ (they all mostly say they spoke with Carl) showed up late to the wedding, and a few of them said he even showed up an hour late and totally messed up the ceremony. Total failure. I'm pretty upset I didn't check these reviews out first. We decided we didn't want to use Carl and his flaky DJ company so I spent the next three days trying to get a hold of Carl. He never answered or called me back. I finally sent him a text and said that we wanted to cancel his lame DJ services and we wanted our money back. Lo and behold he calls me back right away. He gave terrible excuses and denied the terrible reviews that I told him I saw. He basically told me I was making them up. Google them yourself and you will see they are there. Then Carl tells me the deposit is non refundable. Non refundable even though we still hadn't signed the contract, he hadn't done a damn thing for us at this point, and he completely flaked out on the one appointment we made with him. Non refundable? What a piece of crap. I'm making it my life goal to inform everyone I can of how unprofessional this CARL guy is and COMPLETE MUSIC is a COMPLETE WASTE OF YOUR TIME AND MONEY. Seriously, even if they offer you a better price than a competitor will, it's going to be a HUGE MISTAKE if you go with this company. Use Utah Jive instead. We ended up going with them and they gave us the same price that Carl was going to give us. And they did a FANTASTIC job. Don't waste your time or money with Complete Music. You will surely regret it.
