- Calla Gold Jewelry specializes in custom one-of-a-kind engagement and wedding rings. I recently downloaded her free e-book, "The Language of Jewelry Design" and found it full of information that anyone wanting to custom design a piece of jewelry will love. She defines the setting styles, shows examples and talks about designing around older family diamonds. My friend Monica's fiance worked with Calla to create an engagement ring for Monica. I found out later from John that Calla also stressed the importance of making a story for the future around the proposal. She suggested he hire a photographer to capture the moment. I love that Monica's ring is so gorgeous and I love that Calla helped him create not only her awesome ring, but a proposal that was so romantic. And I love the pictures!

- Was the staff great to work with? Why or why not? From start to finish, working with Calla was easy and fun. I only wish I had more custom jewelry needs...I'm sure I'll think of some!
- Custom-made wedding jewelry? Custom accessories? What kind? Calla understood immediately what I wanted for my wedding band, and by the end of our first meeting I knew I'd be getting exactly what I wanted.
- Most creative element of your purchase? My wedding band was able to incorporate the floral elements I wanted - as well as colored gem-stones to signify my daughter's birthstone - in a seamless, artful, and inspired design. Also, Calla was able to craft a strong, safe-to-wear-every-day ring without compromising on the delicate design. A feature that I would not have thought of, but a no-brainer for Calla.
- Happy? Best wedding day comment? Overjoyed with my ring - one of my favorite and constant reminders of a wonderful day and loving commitment.

- Custom-made wedding jewelry? Custom accessories? What kind? While I'm not planning a wedding any time soon, I checked out her e-book "The Language of Jewelry Design" while browsing. It has given me an idea of her style and I can say that I really like the idea of custom made, one-of-a-kind jewelry. I know for a fact that she has integrity and does good work because she repaired a few items for me and sized a ring. I have seen her designs and really like them.

- Was the staff great to work with? Why or why not? Calla Gold gives me one on one service. She has given me great advice on re-working inheritance jewelry. She's a great wedding jewelry designer.
- Custom-made wedding jewelry? Custom accessories? What kind? Her custom made engagement rings include special matte and rustic finishes, black rhodium finishes, hand engraving that is superior and careful pave and other great setting styles.
- Most creative element of your purchase? Calla believe there's a jewelry designer in each one of us and brought out my inner designer!
- Happy? Best wedding day comment? I never felt more beautiful than on my wedding day. Unless of course the day I won Miss Cornhusker!

- Was the staff great to work with? Why or why not? Calla Gold and her staff are truly knowledgeable on the design of jewelry, incredible wedding ring custom design and knowing what jewels and metals are all about. Just look at her blog to verify--she knows her stuff and translates that effectively to her staff.
- Custom-made wedding jewelry? Custom accessories? What kind? I'm not married yet, but I drool over her products all the time. Especially Calla's wedding ring designs. They are GORGEOUS.
- Most creative element of your purchase? She knows how to be both very rockstar as well as traditional in her designs. I am more of a big blingy girl (maybe that's why I'm not married? :) but she knows how to do that...as well as ring design for the hard core rocker and artist. That's a pretty strong skill set to bring to the table.
- Happy? Best wedding day comment? Hell yes--because she's in my back pocket for when that proposal comes through. Or I marry myself and have her design my "independent woman" ring.
