- Was the staff great to work with? Why or why not? No. I believe the person I consulted with to be excpetionally rude. I experienced this through both email and in person. And I was not the only one from my family to have this first hand experience. She was also disrespectful of the budget that I gave her, even though after receiving it she assured me she could easily work within it. When she completed my designs and sent me pricing information every single set I was planning to purchase (there were 3 different designs) was over budget. One of them was almost double the budget I told her I needed to stay within. More often than not, she did not follow through with things she said she would do. For example, in person, I gave her my information and some design guidlines and she told me she would email me some examples within a week. I waited a month and never even heard back from her. I had to contact her, and then yet again she did follow through on promises made. I was originally told that this was a back and forth design process, yet she rarely listend to what I liked, did not like, wanted, and did not want. Through her actions and statements it became very clear that she was going to do what she wanted to do, no matter what I thought about it. The most disturbing thing that I experienced with the lady I worked with is that she engages in what I believe to be unfair sales practices. She sent me a picture of my jewelry set, and once I let her know that is exactly what I wanted to go with, she sent me the pricing information. She also sent me a picture of the jewelry set for the bridesmaids, along with a price. Then several days later she sent me a comprehensive price list for all the sets of jewelry I was going to purchase through her. She had never priced my mom or grandma's jewelry for me before, so I had no preconceived ideas as to their pricing. She had already sent me pricing on my set and the bridesmaid's sets though, and it caught my attention that this pricing didn't seem to match the original pricing she had given me. So I looked back at my old emails. I am so thankful I did! Both sets were now being quoted at a different price than they originally had, yet there had been absolutely no design change, meaning there was no reason that the price should have changed. I immediately emailed her asking about the price changes, and she emailed me back, but completely avoided answering my question in her email. So I emailed her yet again, explaining that it was very concerning to my fiance and I that our sets didn't change in design whatsoever, yet the pricing had, and we wanted to know why. I even told her that I compared the original picture of the bridesmaid's set that included a lower price and the picture she had sent me of the set with the new, higher price, just to make sure there were no design changes that would warrent the price change. I counted every bead, every crystal, compared the clasps, compared the earrings, etc., and they were absolutely identical. That is what confirmed my belief that she was not pricing items for what they were worth, but instead pricing items based off of how much she wanted to make on them that day. She did email me back but once again she completely avoided the question as to why the pricing on both my set and the bridesmaids set had changed. Instead she sent me back an email that I found to be extremely rude and personally degrading. I believe the reason she avoided my questions is because I caught her trying to scam us!
- Custom-made wedding jewelry? Custom accessories? What kind? I had planned on purchasing twelve sets of jewelry through this company. I was planning to purchase two wedding sets that each included a necklace, earrings, and bracelet, a necklace and earrings set for my mom and grandma, and a necklace and earrings set for all eight of my bridesmaids. I also let her know that if we could stay within our budget with the sets above, that we would also likely purchase a necklace for our junior bridesmaid and our two flower girls.
- Happy? Best wedding day comment? Absolutely not! My experience with this company was horrible! I am just happy that I was smart enough to save every email that was sent to me, and to double check the pricing information she gave me. Otherwise, I believe I would have been taken advantage of! Pretty much everyone I know, knew that I was going through this custom jewelry process because I was so excited about it, and as this all developed, everyone of them advised me to quit giving this company the benefit of the doubt, and to stop working with them immediately!
