- Wedding officiant make you comfortable? Why or why not? Heather Kotok guided us through that whole process of creating our ceremony as well as offered suggestions for how my bridesmaids should hold their bouquets. She was there assisting us with the rehearsal and directing all the small moments I had not thought of. She was calm, directive and gentle.
- What did the officiant or clergy add that was unexpected? Heather made us a ceremony book that had our whole ceremony and photos from each part of our ceremony.
- How did you personalize your wedding ceremony? Heather wrote our wedding ceremony using stories from our relationship. We had a conch shell blown, a flower ceremony where we tossed flowers into the air symbolizing releasing our past while honoring all the moments that brought us to the moment of our wedding day.

- Wedding officiant make you comfortable? Why or why not? Heather Kotok and her company "Heather's Organic Weddings" owes my fiance and me $1500 for wedding services she was unable to preform. Heather also is DBA "Seattle Organic Weddings", "A Wedding Walk", "Sunset hawaii Weddings" and "Indisrcipt Records". From her email dated 11/14/2009: "I have attached a new contract with the amendment of ending our agreements and the promise of the amount paid towards my services will be fully refunded as soon as possible." Our money not been repayed and our wedding is one month away. Heather moved from Seattle to Maui, without leaving me a forwarding address, and has since refused to return our calls and emai messages. I have spoken to former brides of Heather's and vendors on Oahu who have also been victims of Heather's Organic Weddings. I don't know what kind of a businesswoman goes taking young couples' wedding savings. It is unfortunate that Heather refuses to work with me to rectify this situation, and that this loss of funds has negatively impacted what should be a very happy time in our lives. Heather - anytime you or Indiscript Records feel like returning our $1500, please let me know. You know how to reach me. To all the brides out there - please do not let this "eco-friendly" business spoil your wedding day. Do your research and don't be naive.
