- Wedding officiant make you comfortable? Why or why not? Yes! Mr Feehley is a very nice and compassionate person. He is one of those people you feel you could of known forever after only speaking a short while.
- What did the officiant or clergy add that was unexpected? He paid close attention to the details that were important us. He also explained alot of important pieces of the ceremony that I liked alot because not everyone knew for example what the sand ceremony was and symbolized.
- How did you personalize your wedding ceremony? We did a sand ceremony which was important to us.

- Wedding officiant make you comfortable? Why or why not? Did he make us feel comfortable?? Let me start out by saying.... I swear we were long lost family. When August and I first met Mr. Feehley we feel in love with his laid back personality as well as his Hawaiian fishing shirt he was wearing. We knew right away he was the one to marry us and Mr. Feehley felt the same way. We sat down and had a long conversation about our wedding but the conversation led to a personal level. We both teared up when we talked about people that had an impact in our lives. If I could I would want to meet with him every weekend for coffee. He gives such great advice and he is a very compassionate man.
- What did the officiant or clergy add that was unexpected? Our wedding was a very laid back outdoor wedding. When we first met Mr. Feehley we fell in love with his personality and his Hawaiian fish shirt. We asked him if he could please wear that shirt to our wedding because it was perfect and would fit nicely with the theme. He told us "I don't know, I like to dress up for weddings its a special occasion." Well our wedding day came and what was he wearing??? His Hawaiian fish shirt with khaki pants! :-)
- How did you personalize your wedding ceremony? We had our wedding at Tilghman Island Inn. That is where my husband and I have spent many romantic vacations.
- Favorite wedding ceremony comment from guests? Mr. Feehley was apart of our family that day and my family was going around asking "Can he stay??" He is such a sweet man, "Can he stay?? We really want him to stay??" When i was young I always thought I would never get married and said if I did it would be when hell freezes over. Well our wedding day was the hottest day of the year so everyone was telling us Hell Froze over today.

- Wedding officiant make you comfortable? Why or why not? His relaxed manner and sense of humor made the first impression. We felt comfortable with him immediately and knew he was the one to marry us.
- What did the officiant or clergy add that was unexpected? He drove up in a Lincoln with a black suit and white shirt. I thought he was a chauffeur! At least, I kidded him that he was. True to form, he laughed and cracked a wise one back.
- How did you personalize your wedding ceremony? He offered "template" vows but also gave us the option of writing our own. We modified one of his, and he delivered it without a hitch. We appreciated the opportunity to put our stamp on the service. He also provided wise counsel, when requested, regarding the order of service we wrote and music we selected. He even knew the musician and said he'd talk to him. Once again, it was done flawlessly.
- Favorite wedding ceremony comment from guests? "We didn't know chauffeurs could marry people." (just kidding). The guests appreciated his personal comments at the beginning of the service about the history of "tying the knot" in Irish services.

- How did you personalize your wedding ceremony? We are ourselves wedding photographers and instead of having the same readings that they give at every wedding we decided to use love poems which were different and fun.
- Favorite wedding ceremony comment from guests? That it was the perfect ceremony and that the minister was really cool.

Michael made a point to arrive early and seek both my bride and me out on our wedding day to make sure we were fully prepared to enjoy our ceremony. Not only was he able to put us at ease with regards to his piece of the puzzle, but Michael went out of his way to identify and solve some of the unforseeable glitches that inevitably come up. From planning the ceremony, to awaiting our entrances, and throughout the ceremony Michael skillfully guided us through the process. With the comfort that comes with knowing our ceremony was in capable hands my bride and I were able to enjoy what was really important.
- What did the officiant or clergy add that was unexpected? What was most unexpected was how Michael helped pick up the pieces of problems that were created by a lack of foresight in other areas. We were very pleased with how Michael was able to deliver a customized ceremony that fit our personalities and our values, and we were pleasantly surprised that Michael went above and beyond to ensure that other pieces that you might think were out of his scope were running smoothly. It is abundantly apparent that Michael was not just there to perform a wedding ceremony, but was committed to working with us, our guests and other vendors to ensure the success of our wedding.
- How did you personalize your wedding ceremony? We picked a-la-carte from various examples of the types of ceremonies provided by Michael. After we provided what we were interested in terms of content, Michael ran with it. Michael Feeley made an effort to get to know us better (in both structured and unstructured environments) so he could fill in the gaps. Michael worked with us gradually and with flexibility which made this a lot easier on us as we planned our wedding from a different state. We did a lot of things different in terms of ceremony (no bride/groomsmen, no readings, a butterfly release at the end, etc) and after we supplied the "what," Michael helped us out with the ever-tricky "how."
- Favorite wedding ceremony comment from guests? My dad pulled me aside that evening to comment how everything Michael had to say mattered. He explained that by this he meant that the ceremony was not watered-down with long-winded speeches, was not overly-cheesy with romantic fodder, nor stifled by overly-formal rigidity. The ceremony was concise and appropriately delivered in the spirit of a celebration. I completely agree, and this is exactly what my bride and I were aiming for.

- Wedding officiant make you comfortable? Why or why not? Very comfortable. Michael has a great personality and a great sense of humor. He was very easy to get to know and we immediately felt comfortable even though we had only spoke over the phone. We had no hesitations with the fact that we did not meet face to face prior to the wedding.
- What did the officiant or clergy add that was unexpected? We picked out our vows but Michael put the "finishing touches" on the ceremony. He gave a very nice speech/eulogy that was very personalized and appropriate for the type of ceremony that we wanted. We received great feedback from our guests.
- How did you personalize your wedding ceremony? We gave flowers to our parents during a musical interlude as a thank you for everything they have done for us. We did not tell Michael what to say to acknowledge this gift as we had full faith that he would say something heartfelt and appropriate. Michael did not disappoint has his comments were exactly what we wanted.
- Favorite wedding ceremony comment from guests? There wasn't any one comment that sticks out in our minds but we did receive great feedback from many of our guests including our parents. Everyone thought it was a very nice ceremony that thought that Michael did a great job.

- Wedding officiant make you comfortable? Why or why not? Michael is amazing! He is every Bride's dream on her wedding day. The way he interacted with my Husband and I, was as if he had known us our whole lives. He was always available for questions, advice, and support. Michael even helped us find a DJ for our wedding. He went above and beyond being an officiant and he is now our new friend.
- What did the officiant or clergy add that was unexpected? Michael told me that he would come see me the morning of the wedding. What I didn't expect was the sense of calmness and ease he brought with him. He walked in the room and came right up to me (I was sitting in a chair getting my hair done). I was a nervous wreck and could barely speak. He put his head against mine and spoke to me like a father to his daughter. For the first time that day I felt at ease. The second time was when I saw my Husband.
- How did you personalize your wedding ceremony? We personalized our wedding ceremony by mixing together tradition vows with semi contemporary vows. Michaels welcoming speech was heartfelt, unique, and interesting to our guest and to my Husband and I. Michael had us turn and face our guest while he was giving the opening and it was really nice because it helped us appreciate the people that came to celebrate our special day with us.
- Favorite wedding ceremony comment from guests? My favorite wedding comment was from my older sister. When Michael came into speak with me before the Wedding, my own sister was given the impression that I had known him for years. She asked me later where I had meant him and how come she had never meant him before. When I told her that Michael was recommended by the Resort and the first time I meant Michael was when I was looking for an Officiate, she was completely shocked that her shy little sister had formed such a dear bond with someone so quickly. Multiple guest asked if Michael was a family friend also. He just seemed to fit in so well, everyone loved him!

- Wedding officiant make you comfortable? Why or why not? From the moment we met, we felt completely comfortable and we knew Michael was the one we wanted to marry us. He was available from the very first meeting until the day of answering any questions we had. His kind spirit is immediately evident and he is exactly the type of person you want to have guiding you through your vows on your wedding day.
- What did the officiant or clergy add that was unexpected? Michael came to both of us separately on the day of to make sure we were ready and happy and introduced himself and chatted with both of our families. Throughout the planning and day of he always assured us he was close by if he was needed for any reason. He is very personable, which made it a joy to work with him leading up to the wedding and relaxing during the day of because we knew that our ceremony would be perfect.
- How did you personalize your wedding ceremony? We were able to tailor the main part of our vows to what we wanted to say to one another but the rest of the ceremony came completely from Michael. He recognized the family members unable to attend in a subtle manner which was my preference. Everything he said was meaningful and beautiful and his humor and charm was quite refreshing. One minute I was on the verge of tears and the next I was laughing. His words did not feel memorized or robotic, it all felt very natural and relaxed which fit our personal style and taste very well. It was exactly the way we pictured our ceremony.
- Favorite wedding ceremony comment from guests? We recieved so many compliments from our guests and both of our families loved Michael. Our guests went out of their way to tell us how much they enjoyed the ceremony and most of the compliments were about how meaningful his words were and how enjoyable it was to listen to him. My favorite thing I heard about Michael was that he seemed like someone we had known a long time.

Michael is extremely personable, he met with us before the wedding for an "interview" which was extremely helpful in allowing us to to learn more about him, his views on marriage, family, and a life of love and commitment. He also took the time to learn about us and more specifically, what Christina and I were looking for in bringing our friends and family together to help celebrate our wedding with the honor and respect the occasion deserves but also with the joy, fun, and excitement that a marriage should represent.
- What did the officiant or clergy add that was unexpected? I really enjoyed the historical references that Michael had brought to the ceremony. I have been to many weddings in my life but I had never heard of the story of the "inner circle" as it pertained to a wedding ceremony. I also enjoyed how he added a bit of levity during the service to help break a little bit of the nervousness Christina was feeling. I think that it helped to have smiles and chuckles for both my bride and I.
- How did you personalize your wedding ceremony? Christina and I both have families with strong faiths, but with different traditions of expressing that faith. Michael was able to strike the right balance in honoring our parents and still making the wedding one which was true to Christina and I. He found a comfortable balance between the reverence of the occasion and the joy we have have for each other and life. Both families were extremely pleased with his service, and his thoughts on faith and love. All of the parents remarked on how wonderful they thought the ceremony was.
- Favorite wedding ceremony comment from guests? Numerous guest said that they really enjoyed the service and the ease at which Michael communicated to both Christina and I but also to the guests, and more over how he made the ceremony about everyone in attendance. I think one of the best compliments to Michael was the frequency at which people asked us how we found Michael and came to have him as our officiant. We could not have been more pleased and we are thrilled with the memories we have of our wedding and Michael's part in it.
