- Wedding officiant make you comfortable? Why or why not? Yes. She provided great guidance and her calm demeanour meant we were always at ease with how things were progressing and what was happening next during the ceremony.
- What did the officiant or clergy add that was unexpected? Nothing. Everything was extremely well discussed, planned and executed.
- How did you personalize your wedding ceremony? Modified vows and readings but we found something that was exactly what we were after from the templates Robin provided.
- Favorite wedding ceremony comment from guests? A very relaxed event.

- Wedding officiant make you comfortable? Why or why not? Right from the start Robin makes you feel comfortable and at home. She wants this to be YOUR day about the both of you!
- What did the officiant or clergy add that was unexpected? It was very sweet, Robin gave us an unofficial copy of a marriage certificate that she printed out with our vows. We didn't open it up until we got home that night, it's a nice keepsake.
- How did you personalize your wedding ceremony? Robin has an infinite amount of ideas for every single part of the ceremony but does not limit your creativity if you already have an idea of your own. She can make it feel how you want it to... traditional, modern, unique... but always makes the day specifically about you two. She'll ask you some questions about the both of you and will incorporate it in your special day (always at your liking, she never does everything without your approval).
- Favorite wedding ceremony comment from guests? Everyone commented on how warm and genuine Robin was and how she made our ceremony about us (very personal)! She made our ceremony memorable, not only for me and my husband but for everyone that was there. Many commented on how that was the most beautiful ceremony they have ever attended and it was all thanks to Robin's planning, hard work and wonderful personality!

- Wedding officiant make you comfortable? Why or why not? She was extremely accommodating from our first meeting all the way through the ceremony. She wanted to make it completely about us; to allow us to soak in the moment. She wanted to work with us and guide us through our ceremony while still giving us creative control.
- What did the officiant or clergy add that was unexpected? We added the wine box tradition to our ceremony. We had never even heard of that before but Robin suggested it based on every thing else we discussed. We love it!
- How did you personalize your wedding ceremony? Robin helped tremendously with every piece of the ceremony. She gave us a ton of options and we were able to fit them all together to create a script that was entirely personal. We inserted readings and quotations that made the day about us and Robin was the catalyst to make that all happen.
- Favorite wedding ceremony comment from guests? We had several positive remarks about how personalized the ceremony was. My wife and I used a Dr. Seuss quote about love that numerous family members remembered and mentioned to me even weeks later!

- Wedding officiant make you comfortable? Why or why not? From our first meeting with Robin, we new we found the perfect Officiant for our wedding. Here presence was so warm and caring. She made us feel that we were very special and listened to our wants for the ceremony. Her warm smile put us at ease. She was prompt for the rehersal and ceremony. She was extremely prepared and worked with our photographer and coordinator.
- What did the officiant or clergy add that was unexpected? We came with general ideas of what we wanted to see in our ceremony. Robin presented many options for us and was willing to customize every detail to our liking. She was so quick to respond to emails and questions we had. She allowed us to keep our vows a secret, but enabled us to send them to her to ensure they were balanced. It was such a wonderful thing to have.
- How did you personalize your wedding ceremony? Our ceremony was filled with many personal touches. After reviewing many options of incorporating our childresn, we decided to have one of our daughters read a story, "Your Personal Penguin". We also included the Celtic Handfasting because we loved the concept and how it was different from a traditional wedding.
- Favorite wedding ceremony comment from guests? Many of our guests complimented Robin because she provided such a beautiful atmosphere for us. She took her time and paused at all the right moments. You could feel the love and emotion...it was incredible. I highly recommend using Reverend Robin Renteria. She is amazing to work with.

- Wedding officiant make you comfortable? Why or why not? Rev. Robin is a very warm and serene person, and has a very calming presence. We were comfortable with her right away when we initially met with her. Although we didn't actually see her again until the rehearsal, there was a lot of email contact and she was always accessible and easy to communicate with.
- What did the officiant or clergy add that was unexpected? During the rehearsal, Rev. Robin told my husband and me that we should face each-other and hold hands throughout the entire ceremony. She noted that people are tempted to look around at all of the guests and flowers, etc., but she really encouraged us to focus solely on each-other as we took our vows and made our pledges to each-other.
- How did you personalize your wedding ceremony? We customized our whole ceremony with her, so from the mention of our grandparents, to our honoring of our parents with words that we wrote just for them, to our decision to include a hand-tying ceremony, Rev. Robin helped guide us in creating the ceremony and celebration that would have the most meaning for us on our wedding day.
- Favorite wedding ceremony comment from guests? Many guests commented on her smiling presence, how gracefully and skillfully she handled a fainting episode by my maid of honor, but also how much they liked the flow of the ceremony and how skillfully she conducted the hand-tying ceremony. Rev. Robin was really terrific to work with, and added just the right presence as our officiant.

- Wedding officiant make you comfortable? Why or why not? Rev. Renteria has a subtle, easy-going way of putting every person at ease, which was important to me as meeting new people is difficult for me.
- What did the officiant or clergy add that was unexpected? She was willing to work around the changes that were required due to a hurricane that cancelled out the Saturday afternoon wedding, turning ours into a Friday night wedding at the last minute. And was gracious about our tardiness when that was taking place! Everything became very chaotic very quickly, yet she was a quiet corner to find peace in, and it was very calming.
- How did you personalize your wedding ceremony? We read through all of the lovely vows choices that she had, and there were quite a lot of them, yet none really spoke to us in exactly the right way. They were beautiful, yes, and varied, but we had something special iin mind. So, we wrote our own vows, which she delivered to us to repeat back to her, with the emotion that we felt behind the words that meant so much to us. That meant a great deal to hear someone else find the feeling we have with the names we use for each other, the ones held in our hearts.
- Favorite wedding ceremony comment from guests? My eldest son hugged me and said that he was very happy to see me as happy as I am now, thanks to William. And Reverend Renteria has joined us for the rest of our lives, so now I'm married to my best friend. My youngest son told me that he really liked her, enjoyed talking with her, and found her to be an open, warm person.

As a nominally "straight" couple who nevertheless feel that traditional marriage and the attendant legal ramifications are not what we're looking for, we wanted to make sure we found an officiant who was comfortable working outside of the paradigm of marriage, while still imparting a sense of momentousness and ritual importance to our ceremony. From our first meeting (on Gchat!), Robin impressed us with her sensitivity to our unique requests - she immediately reflected back the language in which we choose to express our love, and she was full of ideas and suggestions for how to deepen the symbolism of our ceremony.
- How did you personalize your wedding ceremony? We created it together from scratch. Robin offered us a wealth of Ideas, from which we took things that spoke to us. We brought ideas that we had seen or read about, and Robin was always very open to trying things, even ideas she had never encountered before (our ceremony culminated in a celebratory volcano, about which Robin wrote a really beautiful commentary)
- Favorite wedding ceremony comment from guests? We heard over and over how much the ceremony "seemed like us", how we it encapsulated our personalities. Robin allowed us the space to be ourselves, while bringing an emotional importance and symbolic richness to the event.

We met with Robin in her home before the ceremony, expressed family concerns and ideas, and she made us feel completely comfortable. I was really glad we could feel like we knew Robin before the day of the ceremony. We were planning from a distance, and it didn't feel like a hurdle at all.
- What did the officiant or clergy add that was unexpected? She offered a wonderful, jubilant toast after the wedding that helped relax everyone and usher us into celebrating!
- How did you personalize your wedding ceremony? We wrote our wedding ceremony completely - Robin provided lots of fodder for ideas and had great passages for us to select from as we chose, but we wrote a lot of it ourselves, and she didn't balk at this, at all. She was very comfortable abiding with our wishes, our script, and our preferences. She was great at guiding us towards what works well from her experience, without pushing her own POV on the ceremony.
- Favorite wedding ceremony comment from guests? We heard over and over again that everyone's favorite part of the wedding was the ceremony! How often does that happen?! And it was just as we watned!

- Wedding officiant make you comfortable? Why or why not? She made us feel like she had known us our whole life! She felt more like part of our wedding then just the officiant. She is truly a special person.
- What did the officiant or clergy add that was unexpected? She went above and beyond to get to know us and was very patient with us. We planned our North Carolina wedding from California and she was super easy to work with. She is very flexible and full of great ideas! We had met with a few ministers before her and we had told them that it was important to us to include something about our family members that had passed on and they all said that it would cost us more money. Robin on the other hand did it for us at no charge. In my opinion she is in it for the right reason!
- How did you personalize your wedding ceremony? We worked with Robin to personalize our ceremony and our vows. She was creative and was very flexible!
- Favorite wedding ceremony comment from guests? 1) Your wedding made us believe in God again 2) Your wedding rejuvenated our spirit. 3) That was the best wedding ceremony we have ever seen.
