- Wedding officiant make you comfortable? Why or why not? yes. we walked in blind and rev. darlene made us feel at ease and had many different options to choose from for the perfect ceremony.
- What did the officiant or clergy add that was unexpected? love. we felt like we already knew rev. darlene for a lifetime and she did a terrific job to make our day special. when we renew our vowes we will definately be calling rev. darlene. thank you so much!
- How did you personalize your wedding ceremony? we added a candle lighting ceremony which included our two children and it was very special.

- Wedding officiant make you comfortable? Why or why not? We met with Rev. Darlene at her home. She made us feel very comfortable and explained in detail what was needed and asked what was important to us.
- How did you personalize your wedding ceremony? We wrote our own ceremony, but Rev. Darlene gave us several samples and was very helpful in getting the ceremony in the proper order. I liked that we were able to pick and choose what we wanted said at the ceremony
- Favorite wedding ceremony comment from guests? Everyone said it showed how much Dennis and I loved each other. They said the ceremony seemed very personal.

- Wedding officiant make you comfortable? Why or why not? Darlene made us feel extremely comfortable. She has a goodhearted nature about her.
- How did you personalize your wedding ceremony? We were able to pick all of the wording for the ceremony, which was extremely important to us. We wanted to be able to express in our own words how we felt, and it came across exactly that way thank you to Darlene.
- Favorite wedding ceremony comment from guests? All of our guests commented on how they enjoyed the wording. That it wasn't the same ceremony you see at every wedding. They liked that it was very personalized.

Very relaxing and comfortable right from the first time we met to discuss the wedding.Down to earth and very caring and professional at the same time.Easy to talk to and listened to what we wanted and what we had to say and offered suggestions,but was not pushy.
- What did the officiant or clergy add that was unexpected? It was just her willingness to lsten and offer us suggestions that made our ceremony unique and personable to us.It was like she helped guide us where we wanted be with our own uniqe ceremony
- How did you personalize your wedding ceremony? Sounds weird to say or explain it but it was like she was part of the ceremony,like she was part of the family and friends we had there.It was not like she was just there performing the ceremony for us she was a part of it.

- Wedding officiant make you comfortable? Why or why not? I can say, Darlene instantly felt like family. She waskind, and she took the time to get to know us, really know us. That is the difference between someone who says the words,a nd someone who knows what will make is special for you.
- What did the officiant or clergy add that was unexpected? Darlene is a gentle, kind woman, filled with grace. She seemd to have calming effect on everyone.
- How did you personalize your wedding ceremony? Darlene gave us many choices for each and every part of our ceremony, it made it 'our own' as if we had writtenit ourselves. She encouraged us to change some of the wording, and we did so.
- Favorite wedding ceremony comment from guests? Everyone said it was the most beautiful ceremony they had ever heard. It was all about love. Full of joy, and promise. We would not have changed a thing.

- Wedding officiant make you comfortable? Why or why not? Darlene is not only the minister living next door, she is my good friend. What an honor and a delight, to have been the very first couple to be married by her. Rob and I wouldn't have wanted it any other way.
- What did the officiant or clergy add that was unexpected? We loved the fun, personal touches she gave to the homily. Just enough humor; yet maintaining all the solemnity of the occasion. Since this was a 'second time around' wedding, Rob and I were thrilled with the intimate, homey aspects. (Even the rug we stood on as we made our vows was borrowed from the Smickers...and oh yes, her husband Tom pitched right in to assist with setting up the tents, etc)
- How did you personalize your wedding ceremony? Rob and I wanted a backyard ceremony. We really put Darlene through the paces, to make sure that every word; the music and readings, were fully expressive of what this day meant for us. What patience it must take to minister to the needs and whims of nervous brides and grooms. Darlene was just what we needed!
- Favorite wedding ceremony comment from guests? Everyone was surprised and delighted to learn that the officient was a friend and neighbor. In spite of the non-traditional nature of our ceremony, even my VERY traditional parents were pleased. No small feat!

- Wedding officiant make you comfortable? Why or why not? Darlene is amazing. Both my husband and I are not extremely religious but very spititual. Darlene had so many different types of ceremonies to look at for ideas. We choose a mid evil ceremony called hand fasting and were also able to change some thing that we were not too excited about. Darlene helped us modify our ceremony and it was exactly us. Darlene helped make our day so special. Our friends and family still make positive comments about our ceremony.
- What did the officiant or clergy add that was unexpected? I think her patients and wisdom. Our family is not the easiest bunch of people to guide and Darlene was amazing! Her patients was so appreciated!
- How did you personalize your wedding ceremony? Darleen help us change certain parts of the ceremony we didnt really care for to exactly what we wanted.
- Favorite wedding ceremony comment from guests? All of our guest thought our ceremony was so different and " incrediable" I had married couples tell me they wished they did something like we did. I even recommened Darlene to one of my friends who was getting married about a month after us and they loved her as much as me!
