- Wedding officiant make you comfortable? Why or why not? Absolutely! Connie was amazing. We called her with less than 48 hours notice, not only was she able to accommodate our request, she still managed to create a personal and beautiful ceremony.
- What did the officiant or clergy add that was unexpected? “Blessing of the Hands” The entire ceremony was incredible. Connie suggested an additional piece that I was previously unfamiliar with. It ended up being one of the most touching moments of our service.
- How did you personalize your wedding ceremony? My husband and I both had children from previous relationships. Including them in our ceremony was vital. Connie was quick to capture the love we had both for each other and the mutual respect and love that we had for each other’s family.

- Wedding officiant make you comfortable? Why or why not? Yes. Connie met with us in advance to try to get to know us as a couple. She wanted to know the details of how we met and our story. She is very personable and easy to get along with.
- What did the officiant or clergy add that was unexpected? She customized our ceremony to be exactly what we wanted. At the end of our ceremony she let us do our "secret handshake".
- How did you personalize your wedding ceremony? We added readings, vows, memorial candle and several other aspects that were just for us.
- Favorite wedding ceremony comment from guests? They loved the handfasting!

- Wedding officiant make you comfortable? Why or why not? Rev. Connie was very sweet and made both of us feel extremely comfortable and confident. She was present at the rehearsal, which allowed us to get an idea of how the wedding day would be.
- How did you personalize your wedding ceremony? Rev. Connie personalized our ceremony to how we wanted it. We wanted short, sweet and simple. She did exactly that, but at the same time it was very intimate. In every picture we have of the ceremony, she is always smiling and looks excited to be there and excited to perform the service.

- Wedding officiant make you comfortable? Why or why not? Connie was fantastic. She was personable, caring, funny, outgoing, and the fact she truly cared about the ceremony was evident.
- What did the officiant or clergy add that was unexpected? A tribute to my son and daughter in law's favorite Grandfathers, who had passed away.
- How did you personalize your wedding ceremony? This was my son's wedding. Connie met with my son and his fiancee to find out how they met, what their likes and dislikes were; she truly strived to find out who they were so she could write their ceremony accordingly.
- Favorite wedding ceremony comment from guests? The fact Connie truly cared was evident in the ceremony. I had several friends ask me for her contact information for their children's weddings.

- Wedding officiant make you comfortable? Why or why not? Rev. Connie was absolutely amazing. She came early to make sure the venue was ready and to check in with us. I was frantic due to other vendors mishaps and she helped keep me calm and rational. She was like a best friend and a sister all rolled up in one. Her wisdom helped me deal with a few crisis with the best results. My wedding planner didn't even show up to help! I don't know what I would have done without her.
- What did the officiant or clergy add that was unexpected? Rev. Connie absolutely made our wedding. She met with us several times to work out every nuance of our ceremony. She was the first officiant to really listen to what WE wanted and not push some standard ceremony at us. She had such an array of options and suggestions for us, we could tell she had the experience behind her. She was available for questions whenever we had them. I can say my ceremony was unique and no one had ever seen anything like it before.
- How did you personalize your wedding ceremony? We are a non-traditional couple and didn't want to be tied down to the standard ceremony. We wanted to celebrate our love in a spiritual but not a religious way. Rev. Connie was able to do that with her writing style and her voice. She had a way of bringing everyone into the moment, to really listen to what she was saying about love and commitment. We added a special moment for our Mothers which was extremely important to us, that Connie wrote custom for our wedding. I watched our ceremony back again on video and it was even better than I remembered, if that was possible!
- Favorite wedding ceremony comment from guests? My mother told me it took her breath away. That alone means the world to me. I heard other people talking about how unique, beautiful and memorable our ceremony was. I had no less than 5 girlfriends asking for Rev. Connie's contact information "just in case" they got engaged over the Christmas Holiday. Rev. Connie was the best vendor at my wedding and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone else!

- Wedding officiant make you comfortable? Why or why not? I have known Connie for a few years and we always joked that if I EVER got married that she would do my wedding. Well when the day finally came for me to ask her she was SO excited for me. She was so accommodating and willing to work with me on times and such. We didn’t give her much time to prepare (got engaged one month and married the next) and it didn’t help that my husband is a truck driver and has the worst schedule possible. Connie always had an encouraging word for me if I was frustrated or a helpful suggestion to make things easier. She has known a lot of people who have taken a year or more to plan their wedding and since we did not take a lot of time I depended on Connie a lot. Having known Connie for a few years isn’t what made everything easier; Connie just has a way about her that makes things easy.
- What did the officiant or clergy add that was unexpected? Connie gave me a customized wedding ceremony and in the middle of performing it when she began the ring ceremony she dropped my ring down the heater vent. I remember her looking at me and it being such a surreal moment, the look on her face was classic but she recovered well and that moment more than any other part of the ceremony I will never forget... I don’t remember all the words she spoke before or after but I totally remember her face in that moment. Instead of it ruining my wedding I think of it often and it made everything so real, so perfect. My brother-in-law, who was hosting the event, spoke up and the next thing I knew he was crawling on the floor at my feet reaching into the vent to retrieve my ring. Connie had her hand on my arm and it kept me very calm and kept me from reacting or panicking.
- How did you personalize your wedding ceremony? David and I had a very whirlwind romance and Connie knew that. She didn’t focus everyone’s attention on that because it was not something that all of the guests were comfortable with.
- Favorite wedding ceremony comment from guests? Almost all of my guests loved the hand-fasting ceremony we chose, no one had ever seen it before and Connie was so sincere in her comments. Another thing I received a lot of compliments on was her mention of the guests that could not be there with us and the moment of silence we had in honor of our parents, both of my parents are deceased and David’s mom is too. It conveyed a feeling of calm about them not being there but didn’t make the remaining time during the ceremony melancholy in any way. She is so respectful and wonderful! We love Connie!!!

- Wedding officiant make you comfortable? Why or why not? Reverend Connie made us very comfortable. She made sure to answer all of our questions and address our concerns. She did not pressure us to use her during our initial meeting, and was friendly and sincere.
- What did the officiant or clergy add that was unexpected? Reverend Connie was swept up in the happy emotions of the day and we were surprised to see a tear in her eye. It was refreshing that even though she has preformed so many wedding ceremonies, she still was still moved by the beauty of mine.
- How did you personalize your wedding ceremony? We included the names of our children and that we had their blessing to marry.
- Favorite wedding ceremony comment from guests? My friend, Linda, said that she had never seen anything like it before and that it was so beautiful and unexpected.

- Wedding officiant make you comfortable? Why or why not? Connie made us very comfortable. She helped walk us through the whole process since we really had no clue as to what we were doing or what was needed in a good officiant
- What did the officiant or clergy add that was unexpected? She got to know us and our love of nature and being outdoors and incorporated that into our ceremony
- How did you personalize your wedding ceremony? She talked with us through the whole process. We were torn between a hand blessing and a handfasting and so she wrote up the separate ceremonies and let us pick which one fit us better. She also got to know us as people and our likes and dislikes and tried to incorporate that into our ceremony.
- Favorite wedding ceremony comment from guests? We decided to go with the handfasting and everyone of our guests said that it was unique and fascinating as well as gorgeous and moving.
