Alexandria Officiants & Clergy: A Alexandria Civil Ceremony

Wedding officiant make you comfortable? Why or why not? We first called the lawyers recommended by Alexandria Courthouse. Four never returned our calls: the other scheduled our ceremony, and when we arrived for our ceremony, no one was in their office. We then called a lawfirm along the river who scheduled our ceremony, but when we arrived we were told by the receptionist that a client had come in the meantime, and their law practice takes priority over our ceremony, and we could try again in two weeks. We then called the Alexandria Civil Ceremonies Office, and they immediately sent a celebrant over to the courthouse. He was very nice and professional, and allowed us to choose what type of ceremony we would like, as well as giving us the opportunity to say our own vows.
What did the officiant or clergy add that was unexpected? Nothing unexpected was added! The officiant did exactly what we expected of him!
How did you personalize your wedding ceremony? The only personalization was saying our own vows, which none of the other celebrants would have allowed.
Favorite wedding ceremony comment from guests? Our guests were impressed that the Alexandria Civil Ceremonies Celebrant's Office utilizes full-time certified wedding consultants, rather than full-time lawyers who only do ceremonies when they feel like it.
