We paid Pierre in full the day of our wedding, and it wasn't a good idea. Our wedding was a beach wedding... One thing happened after 20mn... after the ceremony, Pierre refused to return on the beach and do more pictures. We have only ONE picture of our guests with us on the beach… and it was a beach wedding! It was easy with him the rest of the day. When we signed our contract, three months earlier, we added one thing: ALL PICTURES should be sent one week after our wedding day with a tracking number to where we live. I paid for this service. He never respected that... After two weeks and no news, we sent him two e-mails. It was very hard to reach him. When finally he answered, he was very rude and told us also that he was too busy with shootings in New-York City and in Mexico, and he added he has finished with us! Finally, we received three weeks later a CD of our pictures and he mailed it with a stamp of 1.75$!!! He did 400 pictures and we could get only 150 pictures... He said nothing about that when we signed the contract. We don't recommend him...
What was your favorite wedding photo? It is hard to choose one, but I would have to say that my favorite photos was captured when we didn't even realize that Pierre was taking our picture. We were leaning in an archway at the Bowers Museum and the ceremony had just ended. Before our guests filed out, my husband kissed me on the forehead. This is the photo that we sent out to everyone as a Christmas gift. It is just a beautiful photo.
How did the wedding photographer avoid disrupting the day? Great with candids? Action shots? Portraits? Pierre took so many pictures that after the first few minutes, and after our posed photos, we practically forgot that Pierre was there. He and his assistant were having a great time! We have precious photos of our parents dancing together and friends chatting in corners and the beautiful venue lit by candlelight. He really was in the background, just shooting all of the action - and the photos all looked great!
What was included in your wedding photo package? Albums? DVDs? Engagement pics? Two photographers? I ordered a formal photo album as well as individual prints to give as gifts. But, when I saw the proofs, I had to keep them all and I purchased the entire proof book! They are great photos in their own right and printed on quality Kodak paper.
How did the photographer make you and family comfortable? He did a great job directing the group to get the shots that we wanted. He also knew how to ask everyone to look in a certain direction or turn their heads for a flattering shot. He quickly called out simple directions, got the shot, and before we knew it, we were done!
What was your favorite wedding photo? My favorite picture from my wedding was right after my husband and I were leaving the chapel and heading towards the reception, Pierre took this priceless photo of us in a corvette sharing an intimate kiss as newly weds. The moment was unforgettable and we have our gorgeous picture hanging in our bedroom above our bed.
How did the wedding photographer avoid disrupting the day? Great with candids? Action shots? Portraits? Pierre is extremely professional. He has been around a lot of wedding so he knows what to expect and how to relate to different personalities. I can honestly say my husband and I were so comfortable with him, it was as if he was a part of our wedding party. He was able to direct our wedding party as well as my husband in such a professional manner because he knows what he's looking for in a picture and what kind of pictures people would want for their wedding. Yes, Pierre was able to get various posed and action shots of both the ceremony and reception.
What was included in your wedding photo package? Albums? DVDs? Engagement pics? Two photographers? We ordered extra prints for our enjoyment around our house as well as some extra prints for our family. We also ordered our wedding album for ourselves and a wedding album for each of our parents. Yes, there was an engagement session included in the price.
How did the photographer make you and family comfortable? Pierre helped make our family comfortable with posing for pictures by not being demanding or uptight. He was extremely relaxed and made everyone feel as ease. Pierre knows what he looking for and he knows what kind of pictures people expect. He made us feel as if we were at a family gathering as opposed to a wedding.
