- What was your favorite wedding photo? I honestly love every image Jared and Bronson captured, but I think my favorite is one that happened during the ceremony when I had NO idea they were even watching us. When the pastor was praying and everyone's eyes were closed, my husband and I were looking at each other and smiling, and somehow Jared managed to capture this amazing, genuine moment THROUGH two of my bridesmaids' shoulders - totally impressive. It's just so genuine and special and reminds me of all the emotion surrounding that moment every time I look at it.
- How did the wedding photographer avoid disrupting the day? Great with candids? Action shots? Portraits? I had heard that Bauman Photographers was good at being unobtrusive, but had no idea HOW unobtrusive they could be until my wedding day. When I saw all of the great moments they were able to photograph, I was amazed. I had no idea they were even there or aware of the little things I was laughing at, and they somehow captured it all. Action shots they are GREAT at, posed shots aren't their thing and that's actually why we hired them. I feel like anyone can do a posed shot so we just had them take like 5 family formals with grandparents, etc and then let them do their thing.
- What was included in your wedding photo package? Albums? DVDs? Engagement pics? Two photographers? They offered a bunch of different packages. We wound up just going with one that included an engagement session and wedding day coverage and them ordered our album afterward. I definitely would do an engagement session because it was so fun and got us more comfortable with the guys and the cameras, and their albums are THE BEST. Comparing my album to friends of mine who used different photographers - ours is a million times higher quality and more artistic.
- How did the photographer make you and family comfortable? I kind of feel like posing is always awkward, but the guys were really nice and made everyone feel at ease. They also did a great job of making sure that MY requests, as the bride, were the ones that were honored and not random aunts or cousins or whatever. They cracked jokes and tried to make us laugh naturally, and we didn't spend much time on formals which was great for everyone.
