- There were several amazing shots! We were married at The Old Round Church in Richmond, VT. Our ceremony was at The West Monitor Barn in Richmond, VT. It poured during portions of our ceremony and reception. Regardless, the weather did not slow Chris down. Some of my favorite photos are of my husband and I walking outside in the sunshine after the rain. Chris actually hunted us down to take those shots. He was as excited as we were that the sun was out and wanted to take advantage of it. We're incredibly grateful for his thoughtfulness!
- Chris is a natural and true artist. He was able to seamlessly navigate a very large wedding party, torrential downpours, and some reluctant children. His candids were amazing and his flexibility was fantastic. He made sure he got every one of my "must have" shots and then some. He wasn't overbearing with the portraits, which I know my wedding party appreciated. Rather, his photojournalistic style truly captured the essence of the day. He even setup his laptop at the reception, so we could see some of his shots on a slideshow. We really appreciated that thoughtful touch!
- The value of his artwork is exceptional. We paid a package that allowed for eight hours of photography (although I think he shot a little longer). We also received a CD with all the pictures and the rights to print. His work is outstanding and the value is unmatched. He included little touches like sending us a picture message on the night of our wedding and setting up a slideshow on his laptop during our reception. I've never seen a photographer do this. It showed us he really cared about his work.
- Chris was able to capture shots without intruding. My guests felt extremely comfortable and often commented on his ability to work the crowd during our reception. We had a very large wedding party (5 bridesmaids, 9 groomsmen, 1 flower girl, 1 ring bearer and 1 junior usher). Chris effortlessly coordinated group shots without shouting orders or raising his voice. He has a way of just making people want to listen. In addition to being a fabulous photographer, Chris has the personality to make even the most reluctant flowergirl want her picture taken. My six year old sister was a little overwhelmed and was not too thrilled about having her picture taken. Chris made her smile and won her over before we even arrived at the church. By the time she walked down the aisle, I was able to calm her nerves by telling her: "Darling, just go see Chris. He'll be waiting to take your picture." She smiled and off she went.
