It's so hard to choose! I think my favorite photo is a semi-close up with me leaning over my groom with my arm around him. I didn't know how this photo would turn out since my groom was trying to kneel without actually touching the ground since it was wet! It turned out amazing! Our faces are lit up because it was kind of funny at the time.
Shannon and her assistant took really great candid shots. My nephew was our ringbearer and was not too interested in taking photos, but one of them was able to get an incredible picture of him holding grandma's hand. He had no idea anyone was taking a picture and it turned out so cute! Shannon was very pleasant to work with. She was quick, efficient, had a clear plan in mind, and very professional. The portraits turned out nice as well, especially family ones.
We purchased the Gold package, which was 6 hours of time and purchased our photos A la Carte. I thought the albums were a bit too expensive so we just ordered prints separately. All of the photos turned out great!
My family and I were very comfortable with Shannon and her assistant. They were super professional and were never obtrusive. They were kind and courteous and were patient with the oldest (86) members of our family and the youngest (3 months!)

What was your favorite wedding photo? We were walking down a trail at a Boulder County Open Space with Shannon taking shots of us from behind. As we were walking a deer came bounding out of the trees in front us. As unexpected as this was, Shannon jumped at the opportunity for these unique photos and got some great shots of us watching the deer.
How did the wedding photographer avoid disrupting the day? Great with candids? Action shots? Portraits? Shannon arrived not just on time, but early for our wedding day. She and her assistant were ready to go. Up until we were needed for photos, we couldn't even notice Shannon was there. During the ceremony and reception, she and her assistant were never in anyone's way. When were taking formal shots, she was very organized and everything went very smoothly. She remained upbeat and never got frustrated. She was a complete professional. All of the types of photos that she took were outstanding and exceeded expectations. She made sure to get a great mix of shots just as we had asked.
What was included in your wedding photo package? Albums? DVDs? Engagement pics? Two photographers? Shannon's a la carte menu is great. You can choose exactly what you want and not have to pay for things you don't want. Our original package included 6 hours of photography, and the rights to all of our photos which were delivered to us in a timely manner. What was great was that towards the end of the six hours, we realized that we needed more time. I simply went up to Shannon and asked she could add an additional hour at the last minute and without batting an eye she said of course and kept right on shooting. Shannon also had an assistant with her that took many great photos as well. Her assistant was able to take photos during cocktail hour while we were off location taking formals. Shannon also put our photos up on a website for guests to be able to view them and she also sent a dvd with samples of the photos for us to proof. Also, Shannon met with us on site, which was an hour away from her home, before our wedding day to make sure that she was familiar with the venue and our offsite location.
How did the photographer make you and family comfortable? Shannon was always prompt in communicating with us through email. She met us beforehand at the venue to make sure she was familiar with the site. Even with a lot family to corral for our formal shots and a couple of less than cooperative toddlers, Shannon always kept her cool and got all the shots that we wanted. She was always professional and always accommodating. It was as if she were an old friend.
