  • A portrait of the two of us immediately after the ceremony taken on the U of C campus in front of the chapel doors.
  • Unless you needed to ask a question you'll forget that Kevin is even there. Our candid photos were great and the fun of the moment was captured. Our portraits were gorgeous and artistically done without an ounce of cheesiness.
  • Coverage begins at six hours Unlimited digital capture Sessions with Kevin include an on-site technical assistant Password protected online showcase Direct lab service (you don't have to take reprint orders) An 8 x 10 proof magazine for fast viewing and organization A $100.00 spending certificate for enlargements Reprint rights to the Hi Res images, on a DVD Album design consultation

  • What was your favorite wedding photo? All of them!
  • How did the wedding photographer avoid disrupting the day? Great with candids? Action shots? Portraits? Kevin took amazing shots of our wedding. He included all of the specific photos we requested, and took wonderful candid shots of us and our guests. He was very professional, and got the photos ready for us to view within a week of the wedding. We highly recommend him!
  • What was included in your wedding photo package? Albums? DVDs? Engagement pics? Two photographers? 2 photographers, an album for us and my parents, we opted out of the engagement session, but did go with online proofing, the reprint credit as well as the DVD!
  • How did the photographer make you and family comfortable? We are so glad that we chose Kevin for our wedding. He is very personable yet professional. The photographs turned out wonderful, his skills really came through in them - exceeded our expectations. The follow-through after the event was also terrific!

  • What was your favorite wedding photo? The outside, night time portrait of me and my husband under the Chuppah.
  • How did the wedding photographer avoid disrupting the day? Great with candids? Action shots? Portraits? That is his specialty! he is a former photojournalist. So he is very hands off, and only really takes control when we did the portraits -- -which we wanted.

Review: Kevin is absolutely AMAZING

  • What was your favorite wedding photo? Gosh. Are you kidding me? We love them all. Some hold more meaning and value than others. But he did an unbelievable job at capturing every little tiny moment. Moments I didn't even know existed. We hired him because of his incredible eye and formal newspaper. documentary training. We were certain he was going to be solid. And he delivered a product I never could have imagined. The images are a work of art.
  • How did the wedding photographer avoid disrupting the day? Great with candids? Action shots? Portraits? Again, that is Kevin's specialty. To grab the candids all day and night. We wanted to be left alone. We made that VERY clear. Shout at us, yelp, have us constantly reenact situations, was not our game. My fiancee and I really wanted to have an organic experience living the day we planned so hard and long. And for being a photojournalist, he takes one mean portrait. Wait till you see his scary lighting contraption he made.
  • What was included in your wedding photo package? Albums? DVDs? Engagement pics? Two photographers? Our package came with a lot. We got the online site for 1 year, DVD of hi res images, set of 4 x 6 prints, proof magazine, 100 dollar spending credit for reprints, and an album. Oh, and two parent albums. Whew!
  • How did the photographer make you and family comfortable? Kevin is therapeutic. There was a point while we were all getting ready and I was starting to panic about time, losing items and my own head! I would hate Kevin's job, but he stepped right in, put his camera down and looked me in the eyes and let me know I forgot to breathe. We spent the entire day laughing and celebrating with him. I really felt as if he cares about his job and clients.

  • What was your favorite wedding photo? I don't think I have ONE favorite photo, its just not possible. Kevin is so incredible at capturing the mood all day that there were SEVERAL highlights. The photos of us getting ready really brought us back to that morning, not just the way it looked, but the way it felt. In our church photos he really captured the intense emotional highs (we were bauling like babies and then smiling like our faces were about to explode). The photos of our wedding party around the city really really summarized the love and support we felt from our friends as well as highlighted the beauty of our hometown. The wedding day happens so fast that the hundreds of photos of our guests at the cocktail hour filled in the gaps of our blurred memory. There were also several "detail" shots of the day that really belong in an art museum. He made my "pretty" wedding a "stunning" one. Kevin is just amazing and everyone just needs to experience it for themselves.
  • How did the wedding photographer avoid disrupting the day? Great with candids? Action shots? Portraits? Kevin is a balance of candid AND action AND portrait. Kevin was amazing at the candids, you barely knew he was at the reception until you saw the hundreds of moments he captured. The action shots were awesome! You really saw in still photos the energy of the day! As for the portraits, I typically am not crazy about portrait pictures as they can be kind of dull and stagnant. We did them anyway because we knew our families would want them. I can't even begin to describe how amazing those pictures ended up, it really felt like they should have been in an art book. What Kevin does with colors and angles is really something outside the box. I have several friends that are good photographers by career and hobby. I struggled when I was looking for a photographer because I couldn't justify the cost of wedding photography for pictures that I knew my friends could take with their own cameras the day of for free. Kevin really puts his own unique stamp on his pictures. They are one of a kind and beyond what just an average "good" photographer can produce.
  • What was included in your wedding photo package? Albums? DVDs? Engagement pics? Two photographers? We got Kevin for 9 hours that day and a second shooter (the best idea because it provided us with getting ready pictures of the bridesmaids AND the groomsmen as well as our city pictures with the bridal party without having to sacrifice photos of our guests during the cocktail hour). We did an engagement session (which came with a gorgeous book that we used as a guest book) and we will be receiving a CD of our pictures along with a magazine proof book. We are also getting an album, but seriously, the album is something you've never seen before. Everyone can give you a book with photos slid into it, and these days the "coffee table" style is getting more popular where the photos are screen printed on the books. Those are great, but you can get them made on photo websites for probably the fraction of the cost of going through your photographer. Kevin's albums are one of a kind, hand made "flip" books where they open up, and each page opens up to show pictures within pictures. Seriously, you have no idea how cool they are until you see one. Totally worth it and something you can't get just anywhere. Something I really appreciated about Kevin, but didn't even realize it until after the fact was how simple Kevin's packages were. When he sat down with us in the beginning for our consultation he gave us a basic "A" or "B" package with the only major difference being the album. Being someone that was photography illiterate, all the additional info about the quality of his cameras, getting a CD of our pictures, getting a magazine proof book, really all meant very little to me at the time. We were trying to be money conscious so I'm sure if he nickel and dimed it and made every little thing an "a la carte" option we would have passed on several of these items. I am SO happy we did not. I've heard and watched so many of my friends who after their wedding have so many "would of, should of, could of" stories that I'm glad even though we didn't know anything about photography that Kevin knew enough for all of us. He knew what is important to have included as a basic necessity so that after the fact we really value the things we would not have even given a second thought about before we saw our final products.
  • How did the photographer make you and family comfortable? My now husband would make jokes about my love affair with Kevin (well, his photography) before we even met Kevin because I had discovered his website and immediately fell in love. I set the bar high on who he would be and what his work and style would be like. I can say without hesitation, Kevin was everything I hoped he would be.
