- There were so many, I don't know that I could truly pick a favorite. Kelly did whatever it took to get the best picture. She used unique angles, lighting aspects, candid moments and fun poses to create the BEST collection of wedding pictures. Everyone I've shown these pictures to (which has been a lot) consistantly says how absolutely beautiful the pictures turned out. We couldn't have asked for a better photographer.
- I recieved MANY comments from friends and family that they didn't even realize Kelly was there taking pictures. I think that speaks volumes to how undisruptive Kelly was. My husband and I didn't even realize she was snapping pictures during the ceremony. She sat in awkward positions, laid on the ground, stood on chairs, all to get a great shot. She went above and beyond. She was great with posed pictures and action shots. She worked soooo well with the kids we had. She makes some great monkey noises! Even when the kids (6 and 4) were being cranky and uncooperative, Kelly managed to get them laughing and smiling. Kelly also was SO open to suggestions and ideas. I gave her quite a few ideas and sample pictures that I had found in my research that had caught my eye and she did her best to capture similar shots for me. She also took shout out ideas during the pictures as well.
- Kelly has a variety of packages that come at great prices. We were able to meet with Kelly to introduce ourselves, see her portfolio and talk about what we were looking for. Closer to our wedding she joined us at the wedding site (Prestwick Country Club, AVON,IN) to do a walk through so we could get a game plan in order for the big day so we would be more prepared and could focus on the pictures on the big day. We did not opt for the engagement session however Kelly does offer this service. Another bonus is that Kelly provides the copyright and all your pictures on a CD that you recieve on your 1 year anniversary. So that's a great bonus! :)
- As I mentioned before, she was awesome with the kids. Which, for the most part, are the most difficult to pose and get good pictures with. She ALWAYS got them to laugh, smile, and cooperate. Which, in my book, says a lot when you're dealing with 6 & 4 year old boys. She was great with the adults too! She knew just what to say to obtain the outcome she wanted. She was encouraging and was just out to have fun. She was very open minded but also knew when to throw her 2 cents in for the best interest of the picture. I have so many amazing pictures, I can't sing her praises enough.
