Jim took our wedding photos in 2009 and just shot our family photo including our daughter this month. My favorite photo from our wedding still hangs in our home today; it was a photo of at the end our first dance. Jim caught many special moments from our wedding day.
Jim was open to taking shots who we wanted. We took some posed photos (with our parents, grandparents, siblings) but he documented the whole day with us. He met us at 9am on an old bridge and took photos of just myself and my intended and then we went to the church to take family photos. After that, he caught many photos during the wedding ceremony and at the reception. He was inobstrusive and a pleasure to have around.
I did the largest photo packet because I knew I wanted documentation of the whole day. This included him taking unlimited amount of photos starting at the time we were getting ready all the way until the end of the reception which was late in the evening. I received two parent leather albums, a leather album for myself, a 16 x 20 print, and the digital images on a CD with copyright. He took over 700 photos. We did not take engagement photos by choice but that was an option.
Jim is polite, kind and gives gentle direction to aid in making the best photos. He has a natural eye for beauty and knows how to capture people in the best light. I would highly recommend him and I myself used him again to document our expanding and changing family.

What was your favorite wedding photo? After the wedding, we took photos at Lost River Cave, my favorite photo was of us on the bridge with the entire wedding party in the background.
How did the wedding photographer avoid disrupting the day? Great with candids? Action shots? Portraits? He was great with all types of photos. The only time we were really aware of where he was was during portraits, otherwise, he did a great job of capturing every important moment without being intrustive.
What was included in your wedding photo package? Albums? DVDs? Engagement pics? Two photographers? Leather photo album, rights to all photos, all photos on CD, engagement session, rehearsal dinner coverage and unlimited wedding day coverage.
How did the photographer make you and family comfortable? He was very personable and accomodating. Everyone really enjoyed working with him!
