I was sooo nervous for my bridal pictures, but Laura has a way of truly making you feel like you are the most beautiful girl alive. After a short time I felt very comfortable and ended up having a great time. It's a day I will never forget! I have several favorite pics (which feels weird saying)! Some of my favorites were me sitting on the steps of the courthouse....in front of the courthouse where i was sitting on the grass...my back was to the camera and Laura got an amazing shot with a beautiful gray sky...i also loved the pics that she took at the very end of the day....we were at her office and she took some shots in front of the windows....i could go on and on! Laura is beautiful both inside and out and I think that must be contagious when she is photographing you!
Laura was never disruptive, in fact you never knew she was there. I remember asking her, after reviewing the pics, "how did you do that." EVERYONE loved her, especially at the reception. I felt comfortable with the traditional posed pictures and was happily surprised when I saw the action shots....she truly captures the moment. You can look at one of her pictures and know exactly what was going on....there is so much emotion in each of the photographs!
Wow....well, I started off with one package, but by the end she had done my engagements, bridals, ceremony, and reception....I also ended up ordering an album. Laura was very flexible and worked with my budget and forever changing mind!!!
She was so easy going and patient! She was very easy to work with and like I said earlier, EVERYONE raved about her! She was quick and we had talked prior to the wedding about what traditional posed pictures we wanted. Laura is someone everyone should meet at least once in their lives!
What was your favorite wedding photo? There were so many great pictures. Even if I was making an ugly face in them, they still turned out great!
How did the wedding photographer avoid disrupting the day? Great with candids? Action shots? Portraits? Laura would ask me a question like "where did you and your fiance' meet" and the whole time I was telling her she would be snapping photos, she was never bossy and told people what to do, she merely gave suggestions, which was really nice. The posed and action photos were great.
What was included in your wedding photo package? Albums? DVDs? Engagement pics? Two photographers? I was on a rather tight wedding buget, and from the beginning I wanted a really good photographer, when I found laura kelley I thought I would never be able to afford her, but I was wrong she worked with me on payments, and she was worth every penny! I have a package that allows me to have a disk of all pictures including prints, which was great, I could load them on to my computer and e-mail or print them out anytime I wanted.
How did the photographer make you and family comfortable? Like the aforementioned comment she would suggest poses, and we would suggest some too. She never disregarded our poses because they were silly (and we had a lot of silly ones), she will take anything you suggest, because she wants to make you happy. She has a lot of original ideas as well.
What was your favorite wedding photo? It is impossible to chose my favorite picture because there are so many!!! I love the candid moments where Steven and I are sharing an inside joke.
How did the wedding photographer avoid disrupting the day? Great with candids? Action shots? Portraits? Laura was able to blend in the background and give positive feedback and instructions at the same time.
What was included in your wedding photo package? Albums? DVDs? Engagement pics? Two photographers? We were on a tight photography budget, so Laura worked with me in creative ways to save money. For example, she did not stay for the whole reception(but managed to take over 1000 photos of the ceremony and reception), I also printed my own pictures.
How did the photographer make you and family comfortable? For my bridal photos, Laura included my mom in the process. She wanted to make sure we got every picture we both wanted. I never felt rushed for time, she was so efficiant! Her talent is worth every penny and then some!
