- What was your favorite wedding photo? Instead of answering each of these questions, I'm just going to say that Steve was incredible!! Before our wedding, I didn't think that the wedding photos would be that important to me afterward. Now that we have them I feel completely different. The wedding was the best day of my life and I can't believe how much of the excitement and emotion is actually captured in the pictures we have. From start to finish, the book Steve made for us tells the story of the day, and it is so much fun to re-live it all. Everyone that looks at them is blown away - my sister in law commented that she wishes she had such great photos from her wedding. I have lots of favorites - from the super unforgettable moment of my beautiful bride coming down the aisle, escorted by her parents and just glowing... to the less noticed things like the grainy picture of the old rusty bikes parked outside (some of our friends rode to the wedding). Top to bottom, Steve takes amazing photos, and he's fantastic to work with.

- What was your favorite wedding photo? There is no way that I can choose a favorite! All of the photos are beyond beautiful, though a few in particular never fail to stand out when we show our photos to friends and family. Steve shot a few photos of the end of the ceremony thorugh a cloud of bubbles floating in the air. I really can't describe them accurately, but the bubbles actually each have color in the sunlight, with all of the happy faces lit up behind them. I have no idea how he captured them, but they are breathtaking. Another crowd favorite is a shot of my husband's pre-wedding list (iron, boots, vows, lunch). The list is sitting next to a green can of beer on a table. The shot not only captures my husband's personality perfectly, but the composition of the photo is beautiful.
- How did the wedding photographer avoid disrupting the day? Great with candids? Action shots? Portraits? Steve was absolutely wonderful. We were not particularly interested in formal portraits, but did do a few, and Steve made everyone feel comfortable and happy (which is obvious by the smiles in the shots - even posed, we all look relaxed). During the rest of the day and evening, Steve blended in with the festivities while still managing to capture every moment. The candids are absolutely amazing! From the shots of the pre-ceremony nerves, to the flower girl having her hair done, to the lively and raucous dancing, he didn't miss a thing. The photojournalism approach that Steve uses is brilliant. We literally feel the emotion and excitement captured by the photos each time we flip through our photo book.
- What was included in your wedding photo package? Albums? DVDs? Engagement pics? Two photographers? Our wedding package included 10 hours of photography, a DVD with all of the photos, and a beautiful brag book. The book is amazing. Steve selected the photos, somehow narrowing down thousands to only a hundred or so. I could not have done a better job - the choices he made managed to capture everything from the ferry ride to our island venue to the vows to the cupcakes, and every single one is stunning.
- How did the photographer make you and family comfortable? Steve is a true professional. He is warm and friendly and gives the impression that he knows what he is doing. He really listened to what we wanted, both during a consulation with him before the wedding and also during the wedding day itself. He was flexible and open to changing the plan as we went, and was comfortable instructing our large families and wedding party during the portraits. I cannot imagine having a better experience with a photographer; we are incredibly thankful to have had Steve capture our wedding day.

- What was your favorite wedding photo? Our favorite photo by Steve was taken overlooking the ocean prior to an evening thunderstorm. Steve did an amazing job of capturing the moment and capturing the beautiful colors in the sky without losing his main focus. A beautiful bride and her husband!
- How did the wedding photographer avoid disrupting the day? Great with candids? Action shots? Portraits? Steve was there every step of the way making sure he captured all the days magic moments. He did a great job of making everyone feel at ease and captured many great candid shots, all the traditional wedding photos of the newly weds, their family, and wedding party. Steve also was able to get loads of photos of our guests enjoying the evening.

- How did the photographer make you and family comfortable? The photographer made us feel at ease throughout the whole process. From planning before our wedding, the day of the wedding, and working with us following the wedding to assure we received our photos promptly.

- What was your favorite wedding photo? Oh wow, good question! All of them? I really love every single one of my photos. Steve did such a wonderful job of capturing our whole day. I think my favorites are the ones when I didn't even realize Steve was there. He took some gorgeous pictures of the hubs and I when right after the ceremony, having our "moment" before the reception.
- How did the wedding photographer avoid disrupting the day? Great with candids? Action shots? Portraits? Is it bad to say that I didn't even realize he was there half the time? Steve does a great job of molding himself into the background, but in doing so was able to see the emotions of the day. He told the story of my wedding and saw many things I didn't. I love looking at my pictures as I can clearly see the joy on everyone's faces and all the fun that was had. Steve is very professional and serious, but lighthearted too. He helped me relax and always seemed to know what to say! We weren't too interested in portraits, but Steve did a great job of snapping them and moving things along so we could get the other, more important shots. His photojournalism style is great. He also caught some awesome action shots while everyone was dancing!
- What was included in your wedding photo package? Albums? DVDs? Engagement pics? Two photographers? I think Steve's packages have changed a bit since we had him shoot our wedding. We got photo coverage for the day, one photographer, 200 prints, online viewing, quick service, and great photo editing. We also added on the high resolution DVD so we could have all of the pictures and make more decisions from there.
- How did the photographer make you and family comfortable? By being himself. Steve is down to earth. Like I said above, he fit into the crowd. He was serious when he needed to be, but also saw that we needed some humor in the day to relax a bit. I wouldn't have wanted anyone else to capture the moments of my wedding day. I hear he does baby/family shots too...I'm definitely going back when that time comes!!!

- What was your favorite wedding photo? We have so many wedding photos that we continually talk about and show people. Our favorites are the ones that remind us of the emotions we felt at different times throughout the day. Steve captured so many great, great memories. One of my favorite photos though was completely unexpected. My husband was standing behind me and leaned down to kiss my shoulder. Just at the right moment, a breeze caught my veil and sent it flying up over my other shoulder. In real time it was only a matter of milliseconds but because Steve was there and has such an incredible, artistic eye, it will remain a part of our special day forever! In fact, it hangs at the foot of our staircase!
- How did the wedding photographer avoid disrupting the day? Great with candids? Action shots? Portraits? We were on the same page with Steve's photography style from the beginning. We truly wanted a memory of the day; we said from the beginning, we aren't models and don't want a lot of pics with us smiling for a flash. There were only a handful of the necessary family pics and the rest were completely candid. I truly can't remember even seeing Steve very many times throughout the day, although somehow he managed to snap a thousand+ photos of us!!!
- What was included in your wedding photo package? Albums? DVDs? Engagement pics? Two photographers? There were choices and we were able to customize the package to our specific needs. We loved the idea of having all of the pictures to do what we wanted with them so we included a DVD in addition to the coffee table album that came with the package. We have been able to frame what we wanted more economically and have also uploaded our pictures to stream through our Apple TV and have spent hours and hours looking at them with family and friends.
- How did the photographer make you and family comfortable? Steve is extremely laid back and non-obtrusive. He was really up for whatever, had a gentle/non-demanding demeanor, and just went with the flow. I can't imagine that he did anything specific to make anyone feel comfortable. He seems to just be a laid back guy! For example, we wanted to grab some scenic pics out on the rocks in Ogunquit and had to do some "off-roading" to get the shots we wanted. Steve went right along with our adventure and came up with some of the most beautiful shots of the day!

- What was your favorite wedding photo? There were SO MANY wedding day favorite photos that Steve caught!! One of my very favorites though was one that he captured of Duane (my husband) crying. He shows the tears running down his face! Steve captures every emotion of your special day in an amazing way!
- How did the wedding photographer avoid disrupting the day? Great with candids? Action shots? Portraits? Steve is so comfortable to work with and really stays in the background throughout the day so that you can be yourself, relax, and just trust that he is capturing everything you could hope for in your wedding day photos! He gets a 10 out of 10 for capturing candid shots and action shots ...as well as the portraits! We were so pleased! It is like reliving our day over again each time we look at our pictures :)
- What was included in your wedding photo package? Albums? DVDs? Engagement pics? Two photographers? There are several packages to choose from and Steve is great about working with you to find one that suits you best. Our package included the DVD of 1,000 pictures, 10 hrs photojournalistic photography, and the coffee table book.
- How did the photographer make you and family comfortable? The photographer is extremely respectful, calm and patient! He has a very nice personality and worked well with all!

- What was your favorite wedding photo? There is no way I can narrow it down to my favorite photo. There are different categories that Steve just got so right...My favorite 'humorous' photo would be of one at the reception, my girlfriends smushing a cupcake in my mouth. I love it- because I remember the moment, but did not even know Steve was there to capture- I was so happy to see it! Now I'll remember it forever. My favorite 'romantic' photo is our first dance, and one of us walking through a field outside. Beautiful.
- How did the wedding photographer avoid disrupting the day? Great with candids? Action shots? Portraits? I personally think Steve's 'style' is just brilliant. The candids he did were my absolute favorites. Steve blended in with the day so well. He was obviously there and very present (seen by his photos)...but it was fantastic to not have to 'think' about him. He was extremely professional, and clearly knew what he was doing. The candids are my favorite, but the more 'formal' photos were great too. I'm really impressed with Steve's range- and how beautiful they all look, no matter the style.
- What was included in your wedding photo package? Albums? DVDs? Engagement pics? Two photographers? Steve has a wide range of options. My parents purchased us an album for a wedding gift (and it is gorgeous!!). We also did the DVDs. Engagement photos was an option, that we did not do, but it is an option.
- How did the photographer make you and family comfortable? Steve was just fantastic, and we honestly couldn't have asked for more. Steve blended in with the day, making me relax-- and capturing photos I wouldn't have even thought of. The beautiful candid shots are some of my favorites, as they were truly the moments that made up the day. We are in LOVE with our photos- Steve's talent shines through on every single one. I will forever be grateful for Steve's professionalism, talent, and understanding of the emotions that create a wedding day. He couldn't have captured my perfect day better!
