  • There are so many that it is impossible to pick a favorite! Bonnie did a great job at documenting the day from start to finish - there were many shots that I didn't even know she was taking! The result was a series of very relaxed and genuine looking expressions that I will cherish. One photo that does stand out a tad more is the shot right after my husband and I kissed (being pronounced husband and wife). I'm smiling up at him and she truly captured the incredible bliss of the moment!!
  • Both Bonnie and Greg work in the background and you hardly notice they're taking photos the whole time! I'm not a huge fan of the posed portrait look and Bonnie knew that so she made that process short and to the point (just what I was hoping for). Then we had more time to enjoy our party and Bonnie and Greg got so many great photojournalistic pictures that bring us right back to the day! There's one picture of my cousins dancing that I love, they're brothers and they're dancing in unison with lots of colors flying around them - it's such a cool picture and we definitely plan to send their mother a copy!
  • We weren't able to spend too much money in any one area of the wedding so we opted out of a lot of the extras. Bonnie's husband Greg does shoot with her though, so you get two photographers automatically! It's also wonderful because they have such great chemistry and you can tell they love doing this job together.
  • Bonnie and Greg give off very relaxed vibes that allow people to enjoy the moments more and look natural in photographs. They are also attentive to their subjects and can easily pick up on what's working and what needs change. Plus, Bonnie had some great shot ideas that would have never occurred to my family and everyone loved being involved with such creativity!!

  • What was your favorite wedding photo? They got some amazing photos of us pre-wedding at the waterfall by my house. I'll keep those forever!
  • How did the wedding photographer avoid disrupting the day? Great with candids? Action shots? Portraits? They did the portraits quickly and efficiently, but were flexible and never got stressed. Their candid shots of the emotional parts of the day are wonderful!
  • What was included in your wedding photo package? Albums? DVDs? Engagement pics? Two photographers? We got two photographers for the day and digital copies of all of the photos. It was a great value!
  • How did the photographer make you and family comfortable? They were really low-key, and went with the flow even when we had little kids running all over the place. Somehow, they got every shot we wanted, but I have no idea how they managed it!

  • What was your favorite wedding photo? We did a first-look reveal shoot before the ceremony. We were at a local beach. One of the photos from this shoot we are facing each other, eyes closed, nose to nose, his hands on my waist. It's a true representation of our love, the peace we felt at the moment, and how happy we were to see each other for the first time, just the two of us (and Bonnie and Greg haha!) It's such a sweet picture!
  • How did the wedding photographer avoid disrupting the day? Great with candids? Action shots? Portraits? They were so unobtrusive that we didn't even know they were there. We got all the shots we wanted without even knowing they were taking our picture.
  • What was included in your wedding photo package? Albums? DVDs? Engagement pics? Two photographers? Our package included a DVD of all high res edited photos with rights, and 50 4x6 prints of our choice. She made us two wedding slide shows to music available for purchase (we were able to watch them online for free). We did not choose to purchase an album, however, she offers a large variety of options. We purchased an engagement session separately (DVD and prints not included). All packages include two photographers, Bonnie and her husband Greg.
  • How did the photographer make you and family comfortable? Choosing a photographer was the one part of wedding planning that I knew I had to get right! Your photographs are the one thing that you will reflect on forever to remember your most special day. I was pretty relaxed about every other aspect of our wedding, yet when it came to finder our photographer, I wouldn't rest until I found the perfect one! And then I found Bonnie! As soon as my fiance and I met Bonnie and her husband Greg we knew they were perfect for us! Bonnie and her husband took the time during that first meeting to make us feel special and important. They welcomed us into their home and took all the time we needed to answer all our questions. Bonnie took notes about what I liked and didn't like in a wedding picture. And she nailed it! They made us feel comfortable (even though we don't enjoy having our pictures taken), were fun and easy going, were professional and on our wedding day we hardly even knew they were there. They got all the shots we wanted without being "in the way". We couldn't have been more happy with the final result and we are forever grateful to Bonnie and Greg for perfectly capturing our special day!

  • What was your favorite wedding photo? Bonnie was fantastic to work with: professional but relaxed, organized but unobtrusive, a beautiful eye for art and a wonderful spirit! She caught all the beauty of the Maine landscape, of the Jewish rituals, of our friends and family and of our love. She captured so much joy and life and laughter. We really enjoyed both her beautiful pictures and working with her. My best friend has since used her and she had the same wonderful experience. Bonnie is a catch!

  • What was your favorite wedding photo? Everything! But especially the photos of my husband and I.
  • How did the wedding photographer avoid disrupting the day? Great with candids? Action shots? Portraits? They were relaxed and melded into our event beautifully. Never pushy. Documentary is Bonnie's forte, and she captured so many important moments of the day--many of which I hadn't realized were even there!
  • How did the photographer make you and family comfortable? Bonnie and her husband (who comes as a 2nd photog) met with us in advance of the day to get a feel for what we were looking for and our style. We had a long meeting and they asked us some great questions about our hopes for the result. Bonnie was also very responsive to all my requests in advance of the day about style and certain shots I wanted.

  • What was your favorite wedding photo? It is hard to pick one favorite because there were so many that I loved and they were so diverse. Bonnie and Greg (her second shooter and husband!) did such a wonderful job capturing the moments of my day that each one brings me right back and the entire day was fun and magical! I love the one of me nose to nose with my niece as we danced before the wedding and I love the one of my husband tickling me as we walk down the beach. The pictures and experience were beyond anything I had imagined. We were so lucky to have had Bonnie and Greg as our wedding photographers.
  • How did the wedding photographer avoid disrupting the day? Great with candids? Action shots? Portraits? Bonnie knew what we wanted for pictures and style, which I attribute mostly to her unique technique of having my husband and i look through a stack of previous wedding photos and chose, separately our favorites. She used the photos we chose to distinguish our preferred style of shot! They were very flexible, easy going, and confident! The candids and action shots are amazing. We didn't want many portraits, but the ones we got came out great as well!
  • What was included in your wedding photo package? Albums? DVDs? Engagement pics? Two photographers? Our package included engagement pictures with dvd, rights, and a slideshow, dvd of wedding pictures and rights, an online viewing/ordering gallery, and both Bonnie and Greg shooting the wedding.
  • How did the photographer make you and family comfortable? By being themselves. Bonnie and Greg are easy going, very friendly, accommodating, and a lot of fun. They made me feel like they were so excited to be there capturing my day, which made my family, friends and I all that much more excited about it too. They fit right in with our friends and family and made everyone feel very comfortable! At the end of the day I was so excited to have had Bonnie and Greg be part of our "secret," magical, fun wedding day.

  • What was your favorite wedding photo? There are so many!! There is one that comes to mind of my husband and I kissing on a path under a canopy of trees. It's black and white. We were fortunate to have such a beautiful day for our August wedding. The greens from the grasses and natural backdrops were amazing! Our pictures are romantic, candid, family-oriented, beautiful, artistic, and fun. We are so happy to have them to look back to and remember our day!
  • How did the wedding photographer avoid disrupting the day? Great with candids? Action shots? Portraits? There were times when we posed, and times when we were just getting ready, or being completely enveloped in our ceremony and the experience and hardly saw Bonnie and her husband. We had a small ceremony and Bonnie and her husband very much felt like a natural part of our wedding day. They are so down to earth, and very professional. We laughed and smiled with them when we were doing our couples photos at the beach.
  • What was included in your wedding photo package? Albums? DVDs? Engagement pics? Two photographers? There were multiple options to choose from. We choose a package that included a DVD of digital images. The slide shows with music are beautiful, we've looked at them many times, what an amazing presentation!
  • How did the photographer make you and family comfortable? Bonnie offered to come to our home to meet with us the first time, which was great because we have young children, and this made it convenient. We immediately felt comfortable with her. We admired her style and she really took the time to get to know us, and what we were looking for. We researched multiple photographers and after viewing Bonnie's website/slide shows and meeting with her in person, we knew we found our wedding photographer. We are VERY happy with our photography, and highly recommend Bonnie Harrison!!

Review: Emotional, beautiful, fun, artistic, THE BEST!

  • What was your favorite wedding photo? It is nearly impossible to choose just one favorite! One that really stands out as one of my absolute favorites is a photo of my husband and I standing ankle deep in the ocean water with our arms around each other, heads close together looking down at the water. I'm holding up the edge of my dress so as not to get it wet and Bonnie captured a moment just when a small ripple of water was coming in and it looks just like the water is a train on my wedding gown-it is so beautiful! Several family members and friends have also raved about this particular picture.
  • How did the wedding photographer avoid disrupting the day? Great with candids? Action shots? Portraits? Bonnie was so unobtrusive-she shot some moments that I truly did not know she was even there. The candid shots and portraits are amazing-she was able to really capture the personalities of everyone. She did such a great job of taking all the pictures that I had requested, and so much more! Some close family friends that were unable to attend our wedding commented that by looking at our wedding pictures they felt like they were there, that they could feel the emotions of the day. My husband and I knew that our wedding pictures were going to be beautiful, but I never expected all the emotions of the day to be felt again by looking through all of our pictures. It was wonderful having Bonnie's husband Greg there to take pictures of my husband getting ready as Bonnie was photographing me and my family and to have two sets of eyes photographing the entire day, from beginning to end. People have commented that our beautiful wedding photos look like something right out of a magazine.
  • What was included in your wedding photo package? Albums? DVDs? Engagement pics? Two photographers? The package that we chose (there were many options) included an album or our choice, a DVD with a slide show set to music and all the images that were taken on our wedding day, an on-line gallery to view photos (and order) and the slide show that was available for three months, and 4X6s of all the photos. The slide shows were very artistically done-Bonnie chose the perfect music that really flowed with the pictures.
  • How did the photographer make you and family comfortable? Bonnie has an incredible way about her. Everyone that was at our wedding raved about she and Greg, from all the moments that they captured to their kind, gentle ways, especially when photographing large groups of people. We are happier with our wedding pictures than we ever thought imaginable (and this is coming from a bride with a wedding photographer husband!), we ABSOLUTELY LOVE all of our pictures. It's a great feeling to know that we hired the best wedding photographer out there!

Review: Down to earth, yet dazzling. Captures the emotion.

  • What was your favorite wedding photo? One of my favorite wedding photos that Bonnie shot for us was this spectacular photo of my groom and I in a field under a tall tree with interwoven branches. She put the photo in black and white and the intricate design of the branches with light shining through as we stood beneath on either side looking at one another was both entirely artistic and looked like it was straight from a magazine.
  • How did the wedding photographer avoid disrupting the day? Great with candids? Action shots? Portraits? Bonnie's theme is to be "the fly on the wall" where she just stands at a distance taking in the special moments of the day shot after shot and finding the exact moment when your emotion comes to life in the photo. She captured the moments from the details of putting on mascara to my mother-in-law savoring the last dance with her son to the special romance between bride and groom with just that right look in the eye of passion that every bride wants to treasure forever. She took us to a field where we just roamed around playing and twirling and kissing as new husband and wife. It felt so natural for her to be there and when the photos showed up I felt like she had actually been photographing the entire day through my eyes. It was so nice to relive it in such a real way.
  • What was included in your wedding photo package? Albums? DVDs? Engagement pics? Two photographers? Bonnie offers many different choices of what to include in the package. I went with a DVD of the best photos put to music, which all my friends were absolutely amazed by. Both her and her husband, Greg, actually worked together such that both my groom and I could be photographed separately as we were getting prepared in different parts of the house. It worked out great!
  • How did the photographer make you and family comfortable? I think that the best thing about Bonnie is her upbeat personality and down to earth attitude. She is so sweet and wants to make sure that everything goes exactly the way that you want it. She really does a great job of figuring out your style and working her photos to match it. I have to say that just from my experience and the comments of countless friends who have seen our wedding photos, she is hands down one of the best, if not the best, wedding photographer in New England. I have never seen a better wedding photographer able to capture such a unique and genuine expression of what that day actually felt like. I'm so happy that I have a wedding collection that whenever I pull out to look at, I can actually relive the moments and feelings of that very special day. I hope that this review helped and that after going to her website you'll end up with amazing photos just like mine!
