I have two favorite photos. 1) The picture of my husband and I at the bottom of the giant spiral staircase at my reception location. Absolutely stunning! 2) Our engagement photo of my husband and I in front of the Baltimore Inner Harbor. Not only was this beautiful, but it was a place that meant a lot to both of us having grown up in Maryland.
Theresa and her assistant were very good at getting candid shots of everyone throughout the entire wedding day without being obtrusive. You will be amazed when you review your wedding photos...you will wonder when half of the pictures were taken as you don't remember anyone catching the little moments during your wedding!
The package I chose included engagement pictures, I highly recommend any bride interested in hiring Theresa to do this as well. Not only will it allow you to have some AWESOME pictures for wedding announcements, invitations, etc, but it will allow you to get to know Theresa and see what styles/types of photos you want her to take on your wedding day.
Theresa was a pleasure to work with while planning my wedding(from 500 miles away), and on the day of my wedding. She was able to satisfy my need for both the "traditional" wedding shots as well as more "modern/creative" wedding shots. I received so many compliments on all of my pictures and have been asked numerious times for Theresa Choi's contact information. You will not be dissapointed if you hire Theresa. I will continue to use Theresa for all of my future family portraits, etc.
Overall Rating: 5.0 / 5.0

What was your favorite wedding photo? There are way too many to choose from! I have favorites from each stage of the day: when we were getting ready, during the ceremony, during the formal portrait session, during the reception, as well as the photos of all the things-the flowers, gown, decorations, grounds, etc.-that made up our wedding day. They truly turned out beautiful!!
How did the wedding photographer avoid disrupting the day? Great with candids? Action shots? Portraits? Theresa and her second shooter were with us through the whole day and took plenty of fantastic candids and action shots. I also posed for some shots before the ceremony once I was ready and waiting in the bride's room, and of course we had a formal portrait session with the bridal party and our families after the ceremony. If you have specific requests, Theresa will certainly meet them. Otherwise, Theresa is just busy doing her thing! She'll do whatever it takes to get a good shot, and you can just relax and enjoy your day knowing that you will have fantastic photos.
What was included in your wedding photo package? Albums? DVDs? Engagement pics? Two photographers? All day coverage with two photographers; a DVD with hundreds of edited, high resolution photos; album design; engagement shoot
How did the photographer make you and family comfortable? Theresa is an incredibly talented photographer who is a pleasure to work with. Our photos turned out absolutely gorgeous. She is truly an amazing photographer, and her rates are very reasonable. You'll feel lucky to book her now--in a few more years I think she'll probably be charging a whole lot more! I think that having a good photographer is one of the most important parts of the wedding, since you will have those photos to cherish for the rest of your life. But I had a difficult time searching for a photographer... every one I found that I really liked was far out of our price range (as in 4 to 5 times what we wanted to pay!), whereas the cheaper ones tended to look a lot cheaper-sort of old fashioned and bland, without the more artistic quality I was hoping to find. After feeling discouraged about my search for a while, I finally came across Theresa. I love, love, love her photography! She did both our engagement shoot and our wedding photography, and I could not be happier with the results. And she is also just such a nice person, and so very flexible and easy to work with. Our photos are so beautiful and we got tons of compliments from our family and friends about how fantastic our photographer was. She has an incredible natural talent, as well as a genuine passion for her profession. Take a look through her website and blog--her photos speak for themselves. You will not regret booking her as your wedding photographer!!!!
