Henry & Masci Photography was launched in 2005 when Craig Henry and Katherine Masci, former students of design and photography, were asked to try their hand at capturing an October Wedding. The outcome was phenomenal - not just for the bride and groo Find out more...
When we were standing at the alter and the priest told us to kiss, we both leaned in but only kissed for literally a microsecond because we were both a bit overwhelmed. But they captured it!! of all the candids I received from friends camera's, no one captured that part of the ceremony except for our photographers!! A picture like that I can never get back so I'm glad they caught it! Clearly that has to come with experience!
I loved both the posed and action shots. We had spoken earlier about some ideas for photos so they knew what I wanted beforehand. I have a huge family and they somehow managed to organize everyone plus were flexible when my grandmother decided last minute she wanted all her 16 grandchildren in one picture. They helped grab all the grandkids back to the steps for a photo for grandma. Some of my aunts commented afterwards on how nice our photographers were.
Our package was for over 1000 pictures, with 200 digitally enhanced and packaged for us into a photo CD, but they gave us a few more than the 200 which was nice! Our package also included an album, which I made from the digitally enhanced pictures they posted on a secure website. We ordered some prints, and then 2 more photo albums (for my mom and mother-in-law) because they loved ours and each wanted one. We didn't have an engagement session, but because my fiance had been out of the country.
Katherine arrived at my bridal suite while my bridesmaids and I were getting our hair done, and Craig met up with the groom and groomsmen. I think everyone felt really comfortable around them which didn't make posing for pictures awkward at all! They always close enough to get great shots but, not that close that I really noticed. Looking back at the photos I don't remember taking half of them!
