My artistic approach fuses several elements, including an editorial fashion sense, a taste for distinctive colors and textures, a relaxed shooting approach and a strong passion for capturing real life moments.
Once the shootng is done we put our creativity to work and make beautiful, bound art books that tell the story of your most memorable moments. As a result, we are able to provide an amazing collection of images.

Last September I was lucky enough to have my best friend propose to me. I wanted to give my fiancé a gift that was meaningful but was fun and sexy. Mike Sackett had talked with me about doing a boudoir shoot – I was confused at first what it was. Mike sent me a few links to websites of photographers that had done boudoir shoots. After looking over them I decided it would be a fun experience for me and a sexy gift for my soon to be hubby. I set up my shoot to be on a Sunday afternoon, out of my house. Mike had no problem coming to my house, he brought his wife Tracey to help out with lighting and I was able to invite anyone I wanted, to make it fun. Mike let me pick out about six different outfits. The afternoon was fun and exciting. The first few photos I was a little nervous but by the end of the shoot I didn’t want to stop. It was a lot of fun. Mike showed me a few pictures while we were shooting and I was so excited with the results. I couldn’t wait to give the pictures to my fiancé. I felt so beautiful and knew my fiancé would love a gift that was meant just for him. The best part of the shoot was - yes it was for my fiancé but the way I felt after seeing the finished product made me feel like the sexiest women alive. Ladies if you want to give your fiancé a gift that they will never be able to forget; even if you and your ladies want to have an unforgettable bachelorette party –a boudoir shot is the way to go!! Thank you Mike for the amazing experience!

What was your favorite wedding photo? Our favorite wedding photo(s) were taken at Belle Isle - the same place we took our engagement pictures with Mike. The weather cooperated and we took pictures all over Detroit all of which were beautiful - making it hard to choose only a few!
How did the wedding photographer avoid disrupting the day? Great with candids? Action shots? Portraits? Mike worked well with everyone in the party and helped everyone get comfortable in front of the camera. Mike listened to our needs for family and posed portraits as well as really making sure he captured the day with more photojournalistic pictures of everyone involved. Mike had great ideas for unique photos that turned out fantastic - his use of color and black/white really gave us options for our home and pictures for family.
What was included in your wedding photo package? Albums? DVDs? Engagement pics? Two photographers? Our package included the engagement session, 2 photographers for the entire wedding day, 1 coffee table book, proof book, 5x7 prints, 16x20 canvas gallery wrap print, digital negatives and endless help by Mike. Mike took the time to alter some color on images we were thinking about for prints to give us as many options to choose from as possible.
How did the photographer make you and family comfortable? Mike worked well with myself, my husband and family to make the day memorable. The package was affordable for our budget and he was willing to work with us to substitute more appropriate choices for our needs. In the future I'll refer Mike exclusively for wedding/engagement/portrait work.
