What was your favorite wedding photo? There are so many favorites it was hard to choose! But one of the most wonderful pictures we have been getting compliments on is the picture where we are standing by a pond, I have my eyes closed, and Josh is standing behind me giving me a kiss on my cheek. It is sweet, simple, and the lighting was perfect! Another is the two of us with my veil over both of us and we are kissing, the sun behind us makes the veil light up and it looks magical and so romantic.
How did the wedding photographer avoid disrupting the day? Great with candids? Action shots? Portraits? Aaron and his assistant worked very well together. With our entire wedding party being as goofy and non-directional as we were, they gave us suggestions on what to do so that not all the portrait pictures were not all nessesarily posed, and they came out great! Some of the best pictures we got were the ones where they left us alone and told us to talk and enjoy the moment, and took pictures farther away- but were able to soom in later. The resaon we chose Aaron Imaging is because his candid pictures were better than all of the other photographers. The quality of both the posed and candid pictures impressed us and our family and friends. The wedding itself had a few hiccups, but looking at the pictures we feel nothing but great memories that we get to keep forever.
What was included in your wedding photo package? Albums? DVDs? Engagement pics? Two photographers? Aaron Imaging had packages to meet different budget needs, but he was also very flexible if you wanted to trade out one thing for another. In our package we swaped the engagement session for an assistant to join him. This was very helpful to our budget. Seeing what some of my friends have spent on thier photographer, I spent about equal or less and got the much better pictures.
How did the photographer make you and family comfortable? They were very go with the flow, it feels like they magically showed up to take pictures for the special moments, and they were hiding for the rest of the night- but we got pictures of everything! they were not intrusive or forceful in any way.
What was your favorite wedding photo? We have too many favorites, Aaron was amazing. One of my top favorite pictures is a shot of my husband and his groomsmen, all airborne, jumping, each in their own silly way.
How did the wedding photographer avoid disrupting the day? Great with candids? Action shots? Portraits? One thing that impressed me the most about Aaron was his ability to capture our emotion while staying totally out of the way! When we got our pictures back, there were a lot of pictures that we saw and realized that we didn't even know he was in the room. We were amazed that he'd captured so much. A lot of my family members and friends commented on how friendly Aaron was...that he fit in just like a wedding guest and was very comfortable chatting with people to ease their nerves. I am a wedding planner myself and there are a lot of photographers who want to "direct" every movement and who ask guests to move out of the way so they can get their "perfect" shot. Aaron did none of this, he just let things happen naturally and captured the true moments, and that was really important to us!
We chose Aaron because of his ability to take great candids. He posed a few things for us and they were great. He is very good at "posed candids." Very creative and fun.
How did the photographer make you and family comfortable? Aaron is easy to get along and work with so everything that you do when you are around Aaron is easy.
