The best was probably a simple one of myself and my bride walking to the ceremony together. It encapsulates the sentiment and emotions of the day perfectly. There was also one taken of the wedding set up, before anyone was there that was also nice, it had the essence of the location. There were also a lot of fantastic candids after the ceremony. What I'm trying to say is, there were a lot of great pictures.
Really, I would recommend just examining her online portfolio, as that says virtually everything you need to know.
During the ceremony, Jen took a lot of long shots that were beautifully composed. She was also with my wife during the preparation phase, and there are a lot of fantastic pictures there. It wasn't really a wedding that featured a lot of action shots, but the portraits were excellent and the candids were beyond amazing. Jen actually explained about the best time for candids, which is the time period right after the ceremony is over, and everyone relaxes.
We had a photobook, as well as a DVD. Likewise, Jen makes all of the photos available on her website (inside a password protected gallery), so it makes for easy sharing with relatives. We didn't do engagement pictures, and it was a small ceremony, so we didn't need two photographers.
First of all, Jen was willing to be as involved as we wanted to be. For certain types of pictures, we were very specific about what we wanted, and she was with us every step of the way. For other parts of the photography, we were willing to defer to Jen's expertise. In either case, everything turned out exceedingly well.
Ultimately, the proof itself is in the pictures, which are fantastic. She was a dream to work with, and the bottom line is her stuff is amazing.

What was your favorite wedding photo? It's hard to pick--maybe it's the photo of the two of us in our hall in a quiet moment just before the ceremony--or maybe the group photo of all the wedding guests on our front stairs--or the black and white wide shot of our backyard ceremony or the family portraits... You get the idea. All the photos were good.
How did the wedding photographer avoid disrupting the day? Great with candids? Action shots? Portraits? I'm not sure how Jen did it, but she was always quietly tucked in the just the right corner of the room. She got some great candids that really captured the personality of her subjects. She works like a documentary photographer, letting the event unfold and shooting as it goes. No "do-overs." The wedding portraits (from a list made in advance) got done in a snap--none of the usual grumbling from the guys about having to wait around. All in all--seemless, professional--with amazing images produced.
What was included in your wedding photo package? Albums? DVDs? Engagement pics? Two photographers? Jen has a whole list of packages and options. She worked with me on exactly what I wanted, which included time for herself and a (very able) assistant, a really neat "flip" book that laid out key photos in a magazine-like format, plus other photographs. She was very flexible about this.
How did the photographer make you and family comfortable? Yes, Jen is relaxed, but professional, so that put everyone at ease. I had not met her before the wedding day--we made arrangements via phone and email--but I felt immediately comfortable with her. Really, I thought she was the prefect choice.
