Review: Exceptional work, Tyson!

- My favorite was one of myself (the father of the bride) and my daughter while we danced. We leaned in and rested our foreheads on one another. the photo showed a ton of love and peace.
- I know everyone hopes for sunny skies on a wedding day... except photographers. The heavy shadows can be brutal (imagine the number of people squinting in the photos). When the sun (and shadows) came out, Tyson kindly and gently moved our party over to another location and got great shots without anyone being the wiser. My hunch is that Tyson knows his locations and has the bed-side manners to move a group easily.
- One photographer, proofs, originals.
As a side note, Tyson listened to my daughter and son in law. They weren't going for ultra-creative photos. Hence the 4 star rating above. They were gong for natural, loving photographs with them and their loved ones. It couldn't have worked out better. As a professional photographer myself, I was very impressed by Tyson's work.
- I've seen way too many photographers contort their subjects (ok, now, turn your head 15 degrees to the left and bring up your chin an inch. Good, now broaden your smile...). Tyson was the exact opposite. He let the love of the couple shine through. With gentle ideas and suggestions, he let my daughter and her husband be themselves... which meant they kissed a lot. And then he'd capture these fabulously intimate hugs and expressions. If he really wanted "a shot," Tyson was the one contorting himself so the couple could be comfortable. He made us feel honored, respected and free to do our thing.
