- It's almost impossible for me to pick my favorite picture, but there's one photo that makes me cry everytime I look at it- It's a black-and-white shot of my dad and I from behind right before the doors were opened for him to walk me down the aisle. We are arm-in-arm, he's looking at me, (the light in the photo is amazing) and you can see the shadows of our wedding guests through the church's stained glass windows in the background of the picture. It truly is an amazing shot and I had no idea it was being taken at the time.
- Both Jennifer & Brooks always seemed to be in the right place at the right time, getting the perfect shot, without being told what to do or where to be. I've had lots of friends and family tell me how professional and unobtrusive they were both during the wedding and at the reception. I was extremely happy with the way both my "posed" bridal photos as well as the action shots turned out. Jennifer and Brooks each knew in advance that I'm not too fond of "posed" looking pictures, and took that into careful consideration when shooting the more formal, traditional pictures. The result of their focus on understanding our style and expectations was beautiful photos that reflect us perfectly.
- Jennifer/Brooks Photography makes ordering prints extremely easy- because they post all of the photos on Pictage.com, we were able to pick and choose among LOTS of pictures, and only order those that we love the very most. Pictage is very user-friendly, and is also a great way to share photos with friends and family, especially those who are long-distance. My husband, family, and I were able to go online to select a certain number of our favorite images, which were then burned onto a disk and mailed to us by our photographers. This has been a convenient way for us to be able to print as many copies of our pictures as we'd like. The package price we paid included an engagement session,photos taken at the rehearsal dinner, unlimited coverage on the afternoon/night of the wedding, as well as our choice between a bridal session or a more modern "trash the dress" session. The photographers' website explains the packages offered in detail and is a great way to learn about Jennifer/Brooks photography...check it out!!
- It's hard not to be comfortable with Jennifer and Brooks...my husband and I met them for lunch (their idea) when we were still in the early stages of choosing our photographers. They truly listened to all of our ideas and wishes, and we knew right off the bat that they would be the perfect people to work with. I'd say that what made me most comfortable with Jen & Brooks is the fact that they are TOTALLY flexible in regard to every aspect of picture-taking. My family and I were never told to "pose" for pictures, and only did so when I asked for more formal shots to be taken. I was amazed at how many awesome candid shots (most of which turned out to be our favorite pictures of all) Jennifer and Brooks got without us even being aware they were being taken. Their approach to photographing is honestly perfect. My husband, family, and I cannot recommend Jennifer/Brooks photography enough!
