  • My favorite photo was a picture of my wife with the snow glistening down behind her. It was a black and white, she looked stunning and Dan did an excellent job of capturing the moment.
  • He (well we all were) was faced with natures blistering force of 15" of snow the day of the wedding. I'd say the biggest avoidance would be making it in the first place. His car got stuck in a ditch on the way and he still managed to not miss anything. I'm incredibly thankful for him and risking driving in that mess. With respect to the even itself, he did an amazing job of staying out of the way but to be honest, they guy is really cool so even when he was right there getting the shot, we didn't feel at all like he was in the way. He got all the family photos immediately following the ceremony done quickly which was a huge help because of the snow effecting driving times. And of course, all the family pics looked awesome!! Action shots are never my favorite be he managed to get a few that we both really likes and will definitely make the wedding book.
  • We were on a budget so we went with one photographer, digital files on CD with copyrights and left it at that. Were of the digital age so the disk is our preference however his samples he showed us of some of his prior work done on albums did look very nice.
  • He rolled with the punches, and there were many. Dealing with crazy weather never makes an event like this easy. He stayed professional and also fun and it made my wife and I feel way more relaxed. Everyone from friends to immediate family had many positive comments with there interaction with Dan throughout the course of the evening as well. That really means a lot to me because I have met some real prick photographers at weddings before that were really rude in the quest to get a good picture. Dan proved that you can be cool, calm, and professional and get amazing shots without being rude and bossy.

  • What was your favorite wedding photo? It's hard to say, there were so many! Probably some of our cake shots and the preparation photos.
  • How did the wedding photographer avoid disrupting the day? Great with candids? Action shots? Portraits? Dan and his assistant were great. I was pretty insistant on having alot of candid shots. Dan listened perfectly. He slipped into the background and gave us just that.
  • What was included in your wedding photo package? Albums? DVDs? Engagement pics? Two photographers? Dan attended our rehearsal to check things out. We got a disc of hundreds of prints and we were able to pick out our favorite 40 shots for an album.
  • How did the photographer make you and family comfortable? Our whole wedding party got along great with Dan. He was with us the whole day, but never made his presence instrusive. He got great shots without forcing us into taking much time for posing.
