Probably the one of me and my husband standing on a picnic table in front of an old-fashioned hamburger joint.
Stacy's personality is completely A+. She steps in when needed and blends the rest of the time. She's especially great with fun, funky semi-posed action shots.
Engagement photos are included--and since we didn't want engagement shots, she's doing a photo shoot of us after the wedding--capturing us in wedded bliss.
She's smart and fun and friendly and totally down-to-earth. She possesses a natural skill of getting people to loosen up and ignore the camera even while she's telling you where to stand to make the shot look awesome!
What was your favorite wedding photo? It's actually a tie. I loved the black and white of us coming out of the chapel and grinning while trying to step through a barage of bubbles.
I also love the one where we're pressing our foreheads together on the bridge and I'm holding his face in my hands.
How did the wedding photographer avoid disrupting the day? Great with candids? Action shots? Portraits? I think Stacie was pretty good at watching for cameo shots and not disrupting the festivities.
I liked both the posed and action shots. I think the natural light ones came out better than some of the indoor shots at the reception though.
What was included in your wedding photo package? Albums? DVDs? Engagement pics? Two photographers? There were several packages offered to us with a generous discount for allowing Stacie to use our photos in her blog. We didn't take advantage of the engagement session. We did get a big discount and 100 free prints. Stacie offered an album, but we chose to make our own.
How did the photographer make you and family comfortable? She always had a big smile and she worked hard to remember everyone's name.
What was your favorite wedding photo? I don't have just one! Stacy took so many brilliant shots and all are completely different from one another, it would be impossible to choose. She has such an amazing eye, not just for a great shot or background, but the way she colors her photos to fit each individual setting is beautiful and perfectly fitting.
How did the wedding photographer avoid disrupting the day? Great with candids? Action shots? Portraits? To make it simple, let's just say Stacy knows her camera. Every shot we did, action or posed, Stacy was constantly shooting. She gave me direction but also strongly encouraged me to be free and be myself. She was really able to capture some amazing candids when i didn't even realize i was being photographed, which i loved.
What was included in your wedding photo package? Albums? DVDs? Engagement pics? Two photographers? Well since this was a Trash The Dress session, a package wasn't really necessary. Stacy's pricing is completely reasonable and after i got back my incredible photos, i felt like it should have cost more. I ended up ordering about 30 photos. There was just so many great shots i had to order them all. The quality definitely outweighed the cost. I only wish I would have discovered Stacy in time for my wedding, I know I would have been so happy with the pictures. Unfortunately, I had another photographer and was actually quite upset with how they turned out.
How did the photographer make you and family comfortable? Stacy is not only a professional, but she is so down to earth! I felt extremely comfortable with her. There was one shot where I had to climb on top of a huge garbage (trash the dress, remember?) and Stacy was helping me up and we could not stop laughing. It was the funniest sight and it was our first pictures of the session which made for a great ice breaker. The combination of the first of many hilarious moments and Stacy's great sense of humor, made for an awesome and fun experience. The beautiful and artistic photos produced at the end were just the icing on the cake. Or maybe they were the cake and the experience was the icing. Either way, I am so happy I found Stacy and can honestly say i have found my photographer for all of life's events that i have to look forward to down the road.
