- My favorite wedding photo is a picture that April took at the reception (a candid) of one of our guests dancing with his wife and new baby...it's absolutely gorgeous! As well as being amazing at candids, April took some really beautiful portraits, specifically those of myself and new husband - they made my mother cry! (tears of joy of course ;) )
- April was really great about keeping us on task without being pushy, as well as making sure that the day was all about US. This was such a huge relief! We did most of our pictures before the ceremony, but she did grab us out of the reception for some additional couple shots, which I am so thankful for, because they're amazing. She had the shot ideas ready, so it only took about 10-15 minutes, which was perfect!! Her candids are amazing, she was able to get some pictures of our guests that made us laugh out load, as well as those that just make you sigh. You had no idea she was taking pictures...and it was so nice to get that perspective, b/c on your wedding day it's impossible to know what everyone is doing at the reception, and even seeing everyone is sometimes really difficult. Having a photographer that was there to take those action/candid shots so we could look back and see all those guests was amazing. April did such a wonderful job!
- I cannot say enough good things about April. She is so laid back that it's impossible not to feel comfortable around her! Even my husband (who is not always the most photogenic person- haha) was thrilled with her demenor and professionalism. During our engagement shoot, she even had him laughing, which is no easy task when he's in an uncomfortable situation! She dealt with the family and our wedding party in a very "non-bossy" way, and did a great job of getting all the shots we had requested. She's not only an incredible photographer, she is just a wonderful person to do business with. She's mellow, fun and very professional.
