They were all great, there is one of the whole wedding entourage and it is great. It captures everyones happiness for the occasion.
Christine was great. I never knew where she was so there was no posing for pics or knowing what to expect. She was great with action shots as she just snapped away without anyone knowing. The portraits were great as she just told us where to stand and then let us take it from there, every shot looks so natural. Christine used all areas of the resort we were at to take great pics and met with us the next day to take more pics after the wedding...
We only got pics, a DVD, sent to us as she was on vacation; we were also to get married. So it was a little impromptu but she was great and gave us a wealth of pics on the DVD. She was a great addition to the day!!! I truly appreciate her taking the time from her vacation to take pictures for our day, it was truly a pleasure our family meeting her.
Christine was a great with everyone. She was laughing with all of us and taking pics like she was part of the family. She knew what to take pics of without being asked. Everyone that was in Mexico for the wedding loved her, she was part of the family.
What was your favorite wedding photo? There really are too many to pick just one but if I had to it would be the shot of my husband and I cutting our cake. He made me laugh so I was looking up just laughing and holding his arm and he was trying to get into the cake!
How did the wedding photographer avoid disrupting the day? Great with candids? Action shots? Portraits? Chris snuck around the whole night of the reception...she didn't really have to try to be quiet because all of our guests wanted their pictures taken. But, at the church, I didn't even know she was there and she got some amazing shots of us at the altar and lighting our candle...I think she just used the zoom feature which made it seem like she was right behind us but she wasn't.
Chris is terrific with both shots; however, I know she prefers the action shots. These are definitely my favorite of all of them.
What was included in your wedding photo package? Albums? DVDs? Engagement pics? Two photographers? I chose not to have her make us the "coffee table" album that she does normally include with her package as I like to scrap book these things as well. She agreed to just put all of our prints onto a CD and then I could print them when I wanted and do what I wanted with them. She still continues to offer her help if I want some larger prints or a book done.
Our engagement photos were included in the package.
We ordered the number of prints that we wanted of the engagement photos and just paid for those on delivery, very inexpensive.
Chris told us that we could go to any location that we wanted when we took our engagment photos but she also offered up several suggestions, such as near by parks or downtown areas that offered good alley ways and old buildings to create a little more of a non-traditional photo. She was and is very open to what ever the bride and groom want to do as far as location and/or style of portraits. We went to 2 different locations the day of the wedding and she came with us to both places to get the "posed" shots in the park and then the "action" shots at the bar we went to before the reception.
How did the photographer make you and family comfortable? Chris is such a people person. She loves what she does and helps everyone to feel comfortable by helping them pose, fixing their hair or jewelry or ties. She is very friendly and soft spoken and always smiling. The crazier and sillier we got, the better the pictures were. She just knows how to capture you when you are feeling comfortable. My husband hates having his picture taken but she loosened him up by showing him some good shots that we got and telling him what made him look really good as far as posing or smiling or even just laughing.
I will definitely be having Chris take our first baby photos and family photos, when the time comes!
