How did wedding planner make your day special? We hired Mandy Butler as our “day-of” coordinator for our wedding this past August 8th, 2009.
On the day that we went over our reception details at the hotel, both Mandy and her assistant Brook both showed us why we hired them in the first place – they wrote down EVERYTHING that we were discussing with our catering manager – from the dimensions for our backdrop and riser, to the layout plan, to what we were having for appetizers, etc. Her assistant, Brook, was awesome – she was extremely detail-oriented and was always one-step ahead in terms of what we had to cover. During this time, our reception décor vendor showed up a little bit late, but Mandy and Brook quickly briefed her on what we discussed and even gave her the dimensions she needed, basically taking it off our hands and allowing Marianne and I to keep focus with our catering manager!
On the day of our wedding, Mandy and her other assistant Rebecca, were godsends! They were very well-prepared and handled ANYTHING that came their way – when one of the bridesmaids needed a bobby-pin, they had one; when we forgot to get a very important bouquet of flowers for our wedding ceremony, they went out and bought one; when one of the wedding favors were damaged during transportation, they bought a new “part” for it! Both Marianne and I were amazed at Mandy’s ability to keep up with everything and still handle the mishaps that occurred. And whenever we needed anything during the reception, all we had to do was look at Mandy or Rebecca, and they would quickly come to our assistance. Now that’s being attentive!
Overall, Mandy and her team at Test of Time Weddings were the consummate wedding coordinators. They assisted us in any way we could, solved any problems that came up, and best of all, took off a lot of the stress that allowed Marianne and I to enjoy our special day. Kudos to you and your team, Mandy!
