Like most newly engaged brides, I thought that planning my wedding would be an easy task, but I soon learned how wrong I was. You helped me to realize that if I wanted to successfully plan the wedding of my dreams. I also appreciate how you are helping me to arrange tours for our out of town guests as well as welcome packets for them. It’s something I didn’t think about at first, but it’s definitely a great idea because my groom is from Canada and this will be the first time that most of his family has been to New Orleans. My wedding planner's questionnaire was a great starting point because we all have a specific vision of our wedding, but it’s important to really know the expenses, time and commitment involved. I also found it very helpful because it helped me to prioritize what was really important to me and thus helped me to focus my attention in the areas that were most important to me. After I completed the questionnaire, I was able to sit down with my fiancé and our parents. I shared my vision for the wedding and got their input which helped us all to start out on the same page. It was also great because you were able to suggest vendors in my area that suited the style of the day.
I had so much on my plate while planning my wedding and Charlotte always made sure to let me know what tasks needed to be done and when they needed to be completed. She made sure to follow up with me constantly in order to make sure they were done and that we were still on track. I can honestly say that it would have been so much more of a challenging and stressful situation if Charlott had not been there to help.
The value of a wedding planner is having someone there whom has your interest at heart, someone whom would listen to you complain and help fix the problem without second guessing. My wedding planner was no is amazing. I really appreciated that she drove to New Orleans from Dallas to make sure everything was going well and to spend time with me. It was one thing to talk over email and the phone, but to have her actually see my wedding binder and articles pictures I had cut out was so much better. You are definitely a true professional.
