- How did wedding planner make your day special? I would HIGHLY recommend Janet as a wedding coordinator... She is extremely professional, a very warm and kind individual who absolutely loves what she does. She not only says how excited she is to help you but you can actually feel it in the way she talks about the whole wedding process. Janet makes your dream day a reality!

- How did wedding planner make your day special? Janet took care of all the details so that we could simply relax and enjoy our day. She ensured that everything ran smoothly and if we needed anything, she was right there to serve us. Furthermore, she is tremendously detail orientated, and she helped bring our vision for our wedding to life, executing everything flawlessly. Ultimately, we had a lot of fun at our wedding and benefited from not having to worry about anything.
- Useful suggestions, tips, wisdom your planner offered? Janet is extremely well connected and introduced us to a variety of vendors so that we could find the best ones for us. She kept us organized and sane during the planning process.
- How the planner reduced your inner-Bridezilla? Or, how did Janet reduce my husband's inner Groomzilla! Again, she is extremely experienced and well organized. She took our ideas seriously, inspired a lot of confidence, and was able to offer valuable input and suggestions when we came to an impasse in our decision-making. She focused on what we wanted and liked and was able to create a very beautiful, personal wedding that was fun and memorable for not only us but for our guests as well.
- Value of a wedding planner? Janet played a crucial role in helping us plan a fairly large wedding thousands of miles from where we lived. We wanted a wedding that reflected our personalities, likes, and style, and having her as a planner helped us achieve this goal. Neither my husband nor I were wedding experts or had definite ideas about what we wanted our wedding to look like before we started planning, but with her help, we were able to create a beautiful, memorable, and personal wedding.

- How did wedding planner make your day special? I usually need to be in control of just about everything. Never for one moment did I feel I needed to see something through on my day. Every detail was exquisitely carried out and Janet's intuition was invaluable throughout the entire planning process.
- Useful suggestions, tips, wisdom your planner offered? FYI: It gets dark very early in VT in the fall – kudos to Janet for that insight! As we were planning the timing of the day, she was always cognizant of this. All of my photos were beautifully timed and the mist at dusk on the mountains is something else!!
- How the planner reduced your inner-Bridezilla? There was one, real Bridezilla occurrence...in my mind :) The florists started setting up in the church per NO ONE'S cue assuming it would rain. I melted down. My heart was set on an outdoor wedding. When I was being approached repeatedly to make a weather call prematurely, I started to break down. Janet quickly swooped in, took the meddling vendor outside, and from there...all I know is that my wedding took place outdoors. And it started to lightly drizzle as my husband and I recessed.
- Value of a wedding planner? Every moment spent with your wedding planner leading up to your wedding day is worth more than words can describe. Because on that day, you can stop thinking! And I did!! My head was completely clear on my wedding day and that's because I entrusted it all to Janet. You cannot put a price tag on that kind of relief and peace of mind.

- How did wedding planner make your day special? I am a hands on person and Janet worked with us, for us and along side of us, every step of the way. She was aware of everything going on, and took care of it-from the couple who were missed by the wait staff serving their dinner to the guest who nearly took out an entire table! Janet was everywhere but you rarely saw her.
- Useful suggestions, tips, wisdom your planner offered? Early in the planning, Janet was already thinking about the light available for outside pictures in VT in October. That was not on my list! So many ideas to make my daughter's day that much more special not just for us but all our guests.
- How the planner reduced your inner-Bridezilla? The bride lives in NY, I live in FL so Janet was a necessity in VT. She defused the situation when the musicians decided, on their own, to set up in the church, while we were having the ceremony outside. I know she handled it far more professionally than the bride or I would have.
- Value of a wedding planner? Janet is a gem! As smart,professional, and organized as anyone I've ever worked with, she is also fun and an absolute delight to work with. She kept us on a tight time table and yet no one felt pushed or rushed. That's a rare talent!

- How did wedding planner make your day special? Janet went out of her way to ensure that all of our details were in order, she is organized, prepared, and really wanted our day to be seamless and special!
- Useful suggestions, tips, wisdom your planner offered? Janet is a pro, she knows her stuff, is excellent with timelines, vendor recommendations, and collecting all your ideas, preferences, and helping to put together the wedding of your dreams.
- How the planner reduced your inner-Bridezilla? We were all done with the all of the planning and details about 1 week before the wedding, so we were able to relax the whole week and enjoy our special day as if we were a guest at our wedding!

- How did wedding planner make your day special? Janet didn't only make the wedding day special...the entire experience was perfection. Janet told us from the start that we should feel like guests at our daughters wedding......and we did. In a quiet unintrusive manner, she attended to every detail. I'm a take charge type A personality.....Our friends actually asked my husband in jest "what medications I was on for the weekend" they couldn't believe that I was so calm! I knew that our weekend was in the professional hands of Janet Dunnington and as a result, I had no anxiety. Janet reached a balance between providing us with suggestions and yet helping us design a wedding that reflected our family. Nothing could have prepared me for how smoothly each event occured. I knew that Janet was running a marathon all weekend..working behind the scene. All I had to do was enjoy our family and friends. We had over 6 seperate venues during the weekend from brunches to dinners,yoga classes and of course the main event, the wedding.I'm not easy to please, however, I can't wait until we have another wedding in our family. Janet promised to be our planner even if it's not in Vermont!! I couldn't have asked for more. My son in law said that there was only one thing about the weekend that wasn't perfect..and that was golf score..I'm sure Janet can make some arrangements to inprove his game!
- Useful suggestions, tips, wisdom your planner offered? The detailed time line put everything in perspective. This was designed after our daughter and future son in law completed an information packet.
- How the planner reduced your inner-Bridezilla? I think that much of that comes from stress. If you're well planned out and realistic..it's not an issue. Of course Janet (our planner) was there to talk to our daughter when there were those tense moments.
- Value of a wedding planner? Would you attempt to fly a plane without an experienced pilot?? and it doesn't mean that you aren't involved and have a voice. They can do as much or as little as you need.

- How did wedding planner make your day special? Janet took care of EVERYTHING the day of the wedding. All we had to concern ourselves with was being together and enjoying the party. It really made the day so special--we were completely stress free and able to really experience each moment of our wedding and being a newly married couple--the best gift ever.
- Useful suggestions, tips, wisdom your planner offered? To take it easy and to take care of ourselves. Remember--the wedding is about us!
- How the planner reduced your inner-Bridezilla? Janet really helped us adhere to a time line and agenda. She was meticulous in her planning and execution of the day--really she was there to help with any problems and that made such a difference
- Value of a wedding planner? Such an important value--as a wedding couple, many of the wedding ideas and planning will come from you, the planner will help refine those ideas and MOST importantly on the day of she is there to take care of you, to let you have a carefree day (and for your families to have that benefit too).

- How did wedding planner make your day special? She listened, she was unobtrusive, she kept all the trains moving on time (even the slightly drunk groomsmen), and she really helped me make my dream wedding.
- Useful suggestions, tips, wisdom your planner offered? Everything from the choice of linens, to the menus, to sprigs of berries on the plates as accents to location for the wedding party photos, type of tables, amazing location for our rehearsal dinner. EVERYTHING!
- How the planner reduced your inner-Bridezilla? She is so calm and cool when I was crazed. And she was so wonderful at making me feel like a princess for the day. She took care of everything for me.
- Value of a wedding planner? I was planning my wedding in Vermont while living in London. I wasn't from Vermont but my husband and I knew we wanted to have a destination wedding in Manchester. I knew that I could trust Janet to find me the best wedding vendors in the area, scope out locations for accommodations, handle all the small details so I could enjoy the happiest day of my life. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND JANET!
