- Have both your reception and ceremony there? If so, make for a happy couple & guests? Our experience with the Regatta started out wonderfully, right up until the day of our wedding. In fact our experience up until the actual day was so flawless we were floored by the experience we had at our wedding. Right after we cut our cake the staff decided to roll the entire display over a cobblestone walkway and the entire thing smashed to the ground, ruining our entire wedding cake. If that was not bad enough we have photos of one of the staff members actually laughing. No one apologized to us and no one has done anything to right the wrong of that experience. Our baker (Toria Dolce felt so bad she reimbursed us for the cake)Then the waitress that was assigned to us disappeared. After the cake smashed no one came to talk with us again. We were never offered another drink, nothing. Then the staff forgot to put out our favors we had spent over $2000.00 on, I, as the bride had to find staff and ask them to put out the favors! Then they frantically threw them out all over the table, not even in alphabetical order and since the wedding was almost over many guests never received their favors... Unacceptable at such a great venue and especially after smashing our wedding cake to the ground. When the wedding ended no staff came to say good bye to apologize, nothing...
