The venue allowed enough room for an outdoor wedding, if weather did not permit it also allowed for space to move the wedding indoors.
We had the ceremony outside and the reception inside the "barn". We were very blessed that it did not rain and it was fairly cool outside for the time of year. However, the barn itself had dead bugs on arrival and we had to sweep and clean before the wedding. Also, they had an old oven just sitting right by the door of the barn (so trashy). The oven that was in the "kitchen" was so dirty that it almost caught on fire when it was turned on. Outside, the grass was so overgrown by the ceremony site that I almost tripped going down the aisle. The worst part was that the man claimed he would give us our deposit back, ($250) but found every little thing to not give it back. For instance, he said there were rose petals outside. Well, if the grass was mowed in the last couple of weeks, we might have seen them to pick them up.
The vendor allowed us a private setting and did not interrupt the ceremony and/or reception. Also, the vendor provided tables and chairs inside.
