- We had an autumn theme and we used minimal decorations as the venue is gorgeous, with tree lights and a beautifully manicured lawn. We set up pumpkin centerpieces on the tables and had crushed orange overlays, which the venue provided. Chelsea, the venue owner, even allowed her adorable daughter to be our flower girl!
- They were incredibly flexible with payment, meeting times, and vendors. It was like working with family; they just seemed to want to help whenever they could.
- We did have both the ceremony and reception at McMurtrie, but they provided two sections of the venue so we didn't have to go through any awkward waiting period while tables were moved around. We got married in the Meadows and had our reception in the Pecan Pavilion. Everyone commented on how beautiful the place was.
- Definitely the Pavilion. With the lights in the trees and the gorgeous chandeliers, the place looked so elegant, especially against the backdrop of sunset and the evening.

- What was your wedding theme? Décor? Setting? Fresh,chic, Vintage. We didnt need that much decor because of the venue being so beautiful on its own. It was near sunset. We did have parasols for the older guests since it was so late in the summer
- Flexibility of venue to meet your needs? They were very flexible and offered more than I needed. It was very easy to communicate and plan everything from set up to payments.
- Have both your reception and ceremony there? If so, make for a happy couple & guests? we had just the ceremony but had we known how beautiful the Pecan Pavilion would turn out we would have booked that too. It is all a very intimate setting and the drive is so much easier for the guest since its right off of I-35. We are still getting compliments on how beautiful the wedding was.
- Favorite part of the venue? The Meadow with its romantic little drive way over the creek and the beautiful white stair case glowing in the back of the property. I
