Wedding Venues: Gatherings Wedding Chapel & Reception Hall

What was your wedding theme? Décor? Setting? The theme was classic elegance, Breakfast at Tiffany's, Sinatra and Martin style. The colors were Black, White and Red. Everything was decorated with red rosess, crystals, and pearls. The setting was Gatherings. Beautiful old church now turned wedding chapel. Ornate wood, large stained glass windows, red carpet...even an open staircase decending from an open balcony in the reception area, perfect for being introduced for the first time. Looked and felt like the wedding of royalty!!

Have both your reception and ceremony there? If so, make for a happy couple & guests? Yes. The wedding chapel and reception area were both gorgeous, with a wonderful atmosphere and charm that is not easily found nowdays. It was also very convenient to have both the wedding and reception at Gatherings. No one had to drive to find the reception hall and it helped with time as well, so our guests were not kept waiting too long while our photos were taken. Our wedding had about 120 in attendance and Gatherings was very accommodating.
Favorite part of the venue? Hard to choose a favorite! The overall look of the place...with the stained glass, varnished oak, center pipe organ, and the movie star staircase and beautiful reception hall. I've been alot of places, and almost nothing compares in beauty. 5 stars! I would recommend this place to anyone!
