It was all amazing. Tish and Dustin were very involved, taking the time to chat with us and give us ideas and take our own. I enjoyed seeing the stuff BEFORE the wedding that I didn't have time or the opportunity to see while I was getting ready and hiding from guests. I loved the interviews they did with my children - really sweet words.
They attended our rehearsal so they could get an idea of how things were going to go - worked on the best placement of the camera so they didn't get in the way of our guests and all the action!
Oh YES! I was amazed at how much they were able to get with the one-camera package we'd ordered! They got people arriving, us getting ready, the pre-ceremony, the ceremony itself, of coruse ... also got loads of reception stuff and made suggestions to make things very sweet and romantic for the video.
It was really all of those ... serious in the way that a wedding should be, funny in capturing the light-hearted moments, traditional as our wedding was - since it wasn't traditional in very many ways. But there was an overall tone to the video that absolutely reflected the wedding itself. I love watching it even now! They are the BEST - I am so blessed that we found them!
Favorite part of the wedding video? Anything beyond ceremony & reception? Our wedding went by so fast and I was so focused on making it down the isle without falling that I couldn't look around just absorb what was going on around me in the church so when we got the video (which was very soon about a week or two later) we immidiately watched it and saw so much that we missed. It was beautiful. They integrated our colors into the video graphics and everything. I wish I paid a little bit more to have them do the reception as well.
How did the videographer avoid disrupting the day? They set up two cameras prior to the begining of our ceremony and they came to the rehersal to get an idea of where the best place to set up was going to be.
Did the videographer capture all important wedding moments? Candids? Interviews? yes they found all the right angles and zoomed in for all the important moments!
Tone of the wedding video? It was a traditional video for a traditional wedding
