Have you ever thought about tulle and lace for more than your dream wedding dress? I was chatting with Indiana wedding planner Kim King Smith last night, and asked about what trends she's seeing in what brides-to-be ask for. She mentioned the romantic pairing of tulle and lace for wedding reception tabletops and decor details, and I must admit I was intrigued and inspired!
Sheer, feather light tulle mixed in with vintage lace adds an ethereal, elegant quality to your overall wedding vibe. You can do a lace appliqued wedding cake with reception tables covered in tulle (Kim loves ivory tulle over champagne table clothes), wrap the handle of your bouquet with one (or both) of the gorgeous fabrics, or incorporate tulle touches into your centerpieces and choose lace-inspired wedding stationery. The options are really endless, and the outcome is sure to be beautiful!
What do you think about dressing your wedding with tulle and lace? Would you or did you? What other fabrics will you incorporate?
