I've never been a big Hayden Panettiere fan, but I'll admit I loved her red carpet look at Sunday's 2013 Golden Globes. Her muted pastel pink mermaid gown by Roberto Cavalli was stunning, but what stole the show (for me anyway) was Hayden's lilac pink Kotur clutch! Talk about a statement piece!
It got me thinking about what style clutch I'll choose for my wedding, and wondering why more brides haven't embraced colorful bags (as they have non-white and ivory wedding shoes). I mean... a bold pair of colored or patterned heels look amazing photographed with a white wedding dress, adding the perfect POC to any white aisle look. So shouldn't a gorgeous colored clutch do the same? I think so!
Brides can go wild with animal print, glamorous with jewel encrustations, or choose a bright, bold clutch in any color under the sun. As long as it coordinates with the wedding color palette, and compliments (not overpowers) the bride's overall wedding look, the statement clutch will be a major hit just like Hayden's was at the Golden Globes!
