  • What was your favorite wedding photo? To me, the photographer was the most important part of planning the wedding. I do not photograph well and my husband always does, and we talked at length how important the pictures were to both of us. I saw Lisa's ad in a magazine for seacoast brides and thought, If she can take pictures like that at my wedding I would love it. She captures the moments at the wedding, the beautiful glimpses that we usually only see for a second or miss altogether: two people smiling at each other, a nervous jiggling foot attached to an anxious bride, champagne fizzling in a flute. When I look at my wedding book, I feel like I am back in that day. My favorite picture is of my husband and I at the ceremony. Lisa caught me from over his shoulder, looking up at him as I say my vows, and I love the picture because the expression she captured was exactly how I felt at that moment.
  • How did the wedding photographer avoid disrupting the day? Great with candids? Action shots? Portraits? Lisa was great with all three. She was an observer - she got everyone that was important to us in the wedding, mostly candids. People laughing, smiling, sharing our happiness. I also wanted some family portraits done and those too came out beautifully. We shot outside on the beach and inside at the reception, in light rain and sun, moving and still, in black and white as well as color. Lisa is as versatile as she is talented. I've heard from many friends that my book is like traveling back to the wedding day, and I get a lot of compliments on my pictures. I'm pretty picky, but Lisa was fantastic in every way.
  • What was included in your wedding photo package? Albums? DVDs? Engagement pics? Two photographers? Lisa has many packages, all detailed on her website. The one I chose included an engagement shoot, about 2000 pictures shot over the day, 7 hours of her time, and a print book, as well as CDs that included all my prints in both black and white and color.
  • How did the photographer make you and family comfortable? She was a chameleon, blending into everything. Guests commented that they hardly noticed the photographer during the entire day, but she was there whenever I needed her. She also took time to meet with me twice prior to my big day and was always available if I had any questions. We could not have been happier with our choice of photographer.
