- Wedding officiant make you comfortable? Why or why not? Yes, absolutely! She was so friendly, personnable, genuine, and approachable. I felt like I had known her for years! It was her genuine, non salesy approach that drew me to her in the first place. Being in an interracial relationship, I was looking for an officiant I could trust and feel comfortable around. As I googled officiants in my area, I was lucky enough to stumble across Venus' website. I knew from the website I definetly had to set up a meeting. When we met her for the first time, she made us feel so comfortable and at home with her, that I knew right away she was the officiant for us.
- What did the officiant or clergy add that was unexpected? Actually, Venus did nothing unexpected, and that was definetly a good thing! She told us exactly what to expect from her, step by step so that there were no surprises. She did what she said and was there for us every step of the way. She provided us with professional, exceptional service, and after meeting with her for the first time, I knew that was exactly what to expect from her.
- How did you personalize your wedding ceremony? Everything about the ceremony was personnalized! After offically signing with Venus, she sent us a list of questions for both me and my fiance to answer. As I answered the questions, I really felt that it was a great way for Venus to get to know who we were and what our relationship embodied. Venus than took these questions and created the ceremony based off of them so that every single detail was personnalized. I truly felt that our ceremony was one of a kind and uniques, which is the exact way I view our relationship, so that it was a perfect representation of who we were!
- Favorite wedding ceremony comment from guests? That it was so genuine and heartfelt. It seemed that the guests really got a good idea of our relationship and how truly happy we were. Everyone commented how they could see the love between me and my husband. Also, everyone commented on how nice and friendly Venus was.

- Wedding officiant make you comfortable? Why or why not? Absolutely! Venus is very personable and friendly and wants to work with you to create a personal ceremony befitting your relationship.
- What did the officiant or clergy add that was unexpected? Venus added some organization to help guide us in writing the final text.
- How did you personalize your wedding ceremony? We wrote the script and vows, which included readings from family, and included a ring-warming element.
- Favorite wedding ceremony comment from guests? Everyone loved it - it was beautiful and touching.

- Wedding officiant make you comfortable? Why or why not? Venus is very personable and intelligent. She can create a ceremony that is unique to you and your partner based on your beliefs and backgrounds. She is non-judgmental and genuinely cares about writing your ceremony the way you want it.
- What did the officiant or clergy add that was unexpected? Venus is open to creating a ceremony that is unique to your relationship, she writes it from scratch based on the information you give her about yourselves and any traditions or values you want included. This is not your "cookie cutter" officiant. She does not read from a script that she has recycled dozens of times for other couples. You can tel Venus really enjoys making your day special for everyone.
- How did you personalize your wedding ceremony? Venus was willing to create a non-religious and gender neutral ceremony for my husband and me. She can do all types of ceremonies, but it was such a relief to find someone who performed the ceremony on "our terms". This is not your "cookie cutter" officiant. She wants it to be the way you want it. Because my husband's ethic background is Japanese, we included the traditional SanSanKudo sake ceremony. We also included a short mention of our support for gay marriage because we have many friends who are LGBT and wanted to honor their relationships as well. We did not have traditional vows and we agreed to honor each other with "we do" instead of the more traditional script.
- Favorite wedding ceremony comment from guests? So many of my guests commented on how unique and different our ceremony was. They loved how it was not "thee, thou, do you, i do". The sake ceremony was a big hit, and many people commented on the gender neutral approach to our ceremony.

- Wedding officiant make you comfortable? Why or why not? I knew Venus had to officate our wedding in the first 5 minutes we met. She was so friendly and open that we felt very at ease with her.
- What did the officiant or clergy add that was unexpected? It was so unexpected that she wrote the perfect ceremony in one try. There was nothing for me to change or add!

- Wedding officiant make you comfortable? Why or why not? Absolutely! She was on time, always available, and did a fantastic job. I can't imagine ANYone creating a better ceremony. She exactly created the mood and atmosphere we had hoped for.
- What did the officiant or clergy add that was unexpected? Venus was the consummate professional. I recommend her highly! She created a warm, sacred ceremony that two weeks later, we are still hearing about! Thank you again, Venus!
- How did you personalize your wedding ceremony? The lei ceremony - the joining of families choked up everyone - especially the participants!
