i’m an artist and poet who loves to memorialize weddings in photographs accompanied by my translations of ancient Roman love poetry. when photographing a wedding day, my goal is not commercial slickness, or greeting-card sentimentality. (why gild what is already a lily?) and, i’m not a ‘Photograsaurus Rex’ who tries to force a couple into his preconceived formula for “wedding photography”. my goal, instead, is to create a work of art that illustrates a wedding as it is. the finished work of art includes an 8½” x 11” art-presentation portfolio containing over 150 real photographs (not wedding-album reprints). each photograph is individually edited (not “batch processed”), and printed on heavyweight premium photographic paper. beneath many photographs is a Roman love poem in its original Latin, alongside my contemporary English translation. parents receive a 5” x 7” album. three CDs with images suitable for emailing or the web are also included. the total fee is $6,000, which includes start-to-finish coverage by myself and my associate, the photographer Ayumi Sakamoto. however, there are no add-ons or other ‘surprises’....Find out more

- What was your favorite wedding photo? There are too many to list. Guy is a fantastic photographer and he got so many lovely candids of us and our guests. His pictures felt so true to who we are.
- How did the wedding photographer avoid disrupting the day? Great with candids? Action shots? Portraits? Guy wasn't obtrusive at all. he was fantastic and took absolutely amazing shots. I've never looked beter.
- What was included in your wedding photo package? Albums? DVDs? Engagement pics? Two photographers? We didn't really talk about it that much beforehand, but we got a lovely album with great shots of us and our guests.
- How did the photographer make you and family comfortable? ABSOLUTELY!!! Guy is a wonderful man and was truly a welcome guest at the wedding. He didn't make anyone feel uncomfortable and took fabulous pics. Highly recommend to anyone.

- What was your favorite wedding photo? There were quite a few, it is difficult to say. Guy was able to capture all the important moments of our special day. I have to say one of my favorite pictures is the one where my husband places the ring on my finger and guy really captured that very beautifully.
- How did the wedding photographer avoid disrupting the day? Great with candids? Action shots? Portraits? Guy did not disrupt the day in any way. In a very gentle and quiet way he was able to be at the right place at the right time to capture all the important moments. Guy is a very creative fotographer and his fotos are not your average wedding shots. All his shots are very natural and beautiful,you never get the feeling that a smile didn't come natural.
- What was included in your wedding photo package? Albums? DVDs? Engagement pics? Two photographers? We received two wedding albums and a DVD with all the pictures. We were very happy with the final product. Guy put a lot of thought into the choices of fotos.
- How did the photographer make you and family comfortable? My husband and I felt very comfortable with our choice. Guy has a very nice way about him, everybody felt very comfortable with him and he was also very professional. I highly recommend him without any reservations.

- What was your favorite wedding photo? It is hard to say there was only one, but I can tell you that a favorite of mine is the photo of our first kiss as husband and wife which Guy was able to catch perfectly!
- How did the wedding photographer avoid disrupting the day? Great with candids? Action shots? Portraits? They were not your typical photographers. I was not bothered by them at all! I was especially happy with all the candid shots they were able to get. Those photos say so much about the day, and they made the albums come together.
- What was included in your wedding photo package? Albums? DVDs? Engagement pics? Two photographers? Guy made up 2 albums of 8x10 photos (which I loved!) of our special day, and we received a CD with all of our photos on it. I was also happy with the way they were put together. You could tell he took the time to make sure the pics were in order. The albums can tell you how the day went from the beginning to the end.
- How did the photographer make you and family comfortable? Guy really blended in with everyone and adapted to the setting which in turn makes everyone at ease because he didnt make a specticle out of taking the photos. He was quietly in the background catching all of our special moments, and I will never forget that! I was so thankful I went with him!

- What was your favorite wedding photo? Aside from the portraits, which were stunning, my favorite was a black and white shot of us walking back down the isle with our best man and maid of honour in the background. The backdrop was perfect, and the moment captured perfectly.
- How did the wedding photographer avoid disrupting the day? Great with candids? Action shots? Portraits? Gaetano and Ayumi were discretion personified- the fact that they moved around so positively, never hovering inappropriately, never demanding poses meant that thay were almost invisible on the day. The dance shots were amazing- of course most of them were of my wife! They made the bad dancers look good. All of our guests have demanded copies- including every partner of every portrait subject, they were that candid and insightful.
- What was included in your wedding photo package? Albums? DVDs? Engagement pics? Two photographers? 3 Large albums, compiled extremely well to tell the story of the day, and one disc with photographs on- which was exactly what we asked for.
- How did the photographer make you and family comfortable? We met Gaetano a couple of nights before the wedding and he took a couple of shots, so we could see how good he was before the day. On the day, both Gae and Ayumi complied with all our requests, and interacted where appropriate. Very calming, very reassuring, and in Ayumi's case, incredibly chic!

- What was your favorite wedding photo? Hard to choose from so many, loved the dancing photos and the portraits.
- How did the wedding photographer avoid disrupting the day? Great with candids? Action shots? Portraits? Gaetano was phenomenal with portraits that were all shot candidly, revealing something very deep about us as well as our guests. He did not disrupt the wedding, never asking us to pose, yet capturing most incredible moments. many of my guests asked for a copy of their photo and I have found a few as Facebook profile pics while others framed and displayed in their houses! His action photos were superb as he caught the best moments of our first dance as well as the festive guests partying.

- How did the photographer make you and family comfortable? He is an informal and very creative man who self-effacing and absorbed in his work without asking his subjects to arrange themselves around him, but rather adapting to our special moments.
