As the lights dimmed at the Fall 2013 bridal runway presentation for Anne Barge, the music you'd hear strolling through the streets of Paris or sitting at a quaint French cafe began to play. As the first model stepped out onto the runway (wearing a simple yet stunning spaghetti strap number, black ribbon bracelet, and birdcage veil), I knew I was in for a Parisian-inspired treat!
There are 25 new gowns from Anne Barge this season, and each creation was given a French-y name (Margaux, Delphine, Madeline, Cosette, etc.). Chantilly and Alencon lace stunners with deep v-necks and backs had everyone oooing & aahing, and all the pretty details (embellished gloves, delicate sashes, divine beading, embroidery... oh and those amazing veils!) made a beautiful statement. I love the way Anne Barge's wedding dresses move, and you can see what I mean in some of the photos below. There's no doubt these models were working it, but remember that it all starts with the dress.
