We have what you'd call a healthy Fall Vineyard Wedding season out here in Northern California. With a good number of gowns delivered pre-Halloween, at last I have a few days off here before the holiday wedding rush picks up once again to really talk to you about Isaac Mizrahi's 2013 Spring collection.
This is a collection I feel redefines the traditional "Bride". Believe me, his original touches haven't gone unnoticed by my clients either. They're asking for details like black lace over white silk organza and blush taffeta cinched by a black belt to be incorporated into a gown. I think Issac has always been in touch with how American women feel about dressing and just how much drama one needs to look unique without going over the edge.
My personal faves are the white ball gowns with the giant gingham sash/bow and the Black Magic Dress--not necessarily loving the black organza paired up with a pink belt and floral but have a real thing about the perfection of cut in his silhouettes. Yes Issac, I have to say, you've really nailed it when it comes to making a woman look gorgeous!
