After 20 years of experience in the industry we compiled all that we have learned, expanded our minds into the future, and started on a new chapter in the Bridesmaid, Bridal and Special Occasion niche. Liz Fields' collections will debut in boutiques with the Spring 2010 collection. Also, included in the launch, is the Lo-Ve-La by Liz Fields Bridal Gowns and Destination Wedding Collection. Liz Fields spent her whole life amidst Bridal gowns, Bridesmaid dresses and Prom gowns. "Growing up within the New York Garment Center of the '80s and '90s was a whole different experience than what has become of the industry now," Liz remembers, "Everybody was family. There was hard work and always an excuse to celebrate." After high school, Liz studied at The George Washington University and then began working as an Assistant Costume Designer for a major motion picture filmed in Kazakhstan. Working alongside Award-winning designers Merit Allen and Michael O'Connor inspired Liz to move to Los Angeles and formally study design at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising.
