Designers Ursula and Jonas Hegewisch founded Wearkstatt (which is a play on the German word for "workshop") in the early 1990's to provide a new option to brides looking for elegant and glamorous yet timeless bridal fashion. Wearkstatt wedding dresses consists of the most beautiful fabrics that are combined with gorgeous detailing, and uncompromising production quality. Wearkstatt gowns have been featured in a number of motion pictures, on television, in many publications and one of their designs are a part of the Costume Institute of the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
